Don’t call the vet. They rip people off regularly, let alone in death. Hundreds of $$ and nothing to do. Let her die at home surrounded by loved ones.
Sometimes they do not die on their own, and they suffer too much.
I agree with you. We don’t put our loved ones down because we realize that death is a part of life and the leaving though difficult is necessary. There is much to learn through this time of passing.
I would never let my pet die slowly in pain, surrounded by loved ones or not.
Pain. What about the pain, the pleading look.
When they look at you, they are thinking of great love for you and asking why you let them suffer when you are now the protector. They ask; “Why aren’t you doing something to help me. I am ready to go.” (They always let us know when it’s time.)
