The recent events have gotten me down, but again the FreeQers here have slapped me sober and have boosted my spirits. (I can’t help but think of the scene from Airplane! where passengers are all in a line to take a shot at the lady who went hysterical to get her to snap out of it.)

I have a brother that works for a company that makes hugh and series natural gas compressors. The company’s owner has voiced concerns amongst the troops about what the immediate future holds. Big brother here (well...older brother) had to bust him in the chops. “This ain’t over, dude!”

I have a large machine mechanic nephew working maintenance support for an outfit providing ROW clearance for a new oil pipeline somewhere in the tropical regions of central Minnesota. His family just relocated up there for the work and rightfully is wondering “what the hell?”. Uncle EMI has had to send him a sternly-worded text or two to lift him up.

My foundation for the pep talks are formed here on this thread and in my profound belief Trump will not simply walk away from this: “Oops! Oh well! I gave it a shot, and it seems they are “better” than me and won.” (said Trump never!)

So the line from Wictor above reinforces what I believe about Trump: He’s going to lose to “them”? THEM?!! How about NOOOO, Scott? (when the school secretary in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off rips off a quite descriptive list of the types that support Ferris pretty much nails who THEM is.)

I have a book by Trump from 2015: “Crippled America-How to Make America Great Again.” It’s his campaign list pretty much. In the back are two and a half pages listing SOME of the entities owned/developed/managed by Trump. I counted 68. World wide. Jaw-dropping to me. Very little indication there to me that Trump is a quitter, loser or straight up dumbass.

To accomplish all that, Trump has had to deal with the Ferris list, super smart actors and connivers. He prevailed. In spades.

Trump is NOT going to lose to..........THEM.
