Visited a friend of mine in the spring in the Inland Northwest and I wore a quilted coat; friend asked if I thought I was in Alaska! I was like ‘I’m coming from the 60s into the 30s!’.
Then when I visited over the July 4 weekend, I was freezing in the shade and they were about collapsing from the heat (it was 80). Climate acclimation is a real thing! LOL
I have suspicions that Texas may have been set up to fail, the more I read about ERCOT members and the democrats trying to take over Texas grid. It’s to further their climate change agenda. Wouldn’t surprise me if Biden got China involved.
It for sure is real, lol. I know today was near 50 and I had to take off my jacket to do barn chores. But the first few weeks at that temp and I am freezing!
My poor FIL is always freezing. We keep our house at 74 for him. He is in one room wrapped up in an electric blanket with a personal heater going, and I am in the other with my door and window open!
Lol, my first thought was “ they’re GRRREEEAAAT!” But I see folks on that thread beat me to it. ROFL

Hi everyone. Second full day at hospital. Sleeping a lot. Wish I had brought some books or magazines. Using my phone is okay though. Still really haven’t gotten good overall report from doc. Think they are mostly adjusting meds. Adding meds etc.
Last night during the night between going in n out of Afib issue was I thought my room needed an exorcist. All night the lights went on n off. Every 10 minutes the bed began a vibration n moved. Eventually figured I’ll it was some type of anti bedsore mechanism. Just fell finally asleep. Nurse comes in wakes me up about 1:30 AM n asks if I want teeth floss. Scratch head. Half asleep nod yes. Told her to put on tray table. Went back to sleep. This morning find out she said mouth swabs. Being hard of hearing so much fun
Yesterday afternoon nurse stopped in and said for stress test today no food, coffee or tea after 6. Complied
Nurse comes in this AM and asks me if I ate. No. Drink any coffee or tea. No. Had any excedrin. Opps
Didn’t do stress test. - think it was a gift from God
( Positively hate it). Last year thought I would die. BP up to 255/190 n can’t recall heart rate but my chest was exploding. Vomited after n bad headache for days
Can’t do it til Monday. May or may not keep me another day for it. I won’t return for it. Common sense says if I’m well enough to be turned loose the test is fluff
Eating very well. Food here is great
If they discharge me tomorrow Jen can get me -her day off
Last arteriogram I had three years ago came out great. 5-10 % blockage. He doesn’t think it necessary to do another. Risk not worth it. He attributes my diet, supplements etc for that
Heart disease just is rampart in our family. My parents each had 6 siblings. All the kids(my parents sibs) had heart disease. As did 3 of 4 grands. One may have had also but my maternal grandfather died of cancer at 42. My mom was 11. So I come by it rightfully.
The heart issues he believes are mechanical n chemical problems they are correcting with profound med changes n adds
Awaiting dinner. Quesadilla with onions n black onions. Brocolli. Carrots. Angle food cake n berries. Alll veggies n fruit here are fresh
Required Covid test. Tested Negative

Former President Trump will be a keynote speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla., his first public speaking engagement since leaving the White House, a spokesman for the organization confirmed to The Post on Saturday.
Trump is scheduled to speak on Sunday, Feb 28, the last day of the conference.

Woke up thinking about the orange orchard in Florida when they froze fires were buikt to keep the blossoms from freezing. Why couldn’t something similar have been done to the windmills. Unless they planned for them to fail.
