The new, $1,400 payments are part of President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion pandemic rescue package. It’s packed with a wide variety of other aid, including $400 a week in bonus unemployment benefits.
The Democrats who control Congress have Biden’s plan zooming in the fast lane using a special process that would allow it to pass with simple majorities — meaning Republicans could all vote no (which is possible), and it wouldn’t matter.
If everything goes according to plan — and Biden signs the bill during the first part of March — the IRS may need just a few days to start pumping out stimulus check payments again. And that means you could receive your next infusion of cash as soon as the middle part of March.

Son went out to help shovel as I told him that if his dad dropped dead it would be ALL his in the future, NO I really didn’t say that. LOL
Anyway they shoveled about 1/2 the drive to the road so hubby and son can get out leaving me still snowed in.
Fortunately, I have no desire to get out and do the slip and slide.
Is this one going to be means-tested? I know they were discussing that a while back, but haven’t seen anything for sure.

My ‘man about town’ in DC went down to the White House today to see if Dr. Jill’s hearts were still there. He was able to see them...barely! He didn’t realize he did until he was editing later.
Also went down to BLM Plaza as well as showed where they’re still dismantling the press gallery grandstand from the Inauguration. Had another interesting history tidbit-this time about George Washington. It’s a real quick 4 minute video.
