Got this email. I unsubscribed.
Isn’t that he role of the Senate?
Yup. 75 votes to ratify a treaty, I believe.
Cringy!
Surely, it is the role of the US Senate to approve or reject a treaty.
The Paris Accord is a joke — China gets to pollute as much as it wants while the USA is hobbled.
We are on the list again.
Senate must ratify any treaty. The Senate has never done so. It’s purely executive policy only.

It’s the role of the President or his Ambassadors to accept the document. Means nothing more than that without the Senate.
I used to look forward to emails from our real President.
I am not into imposters.
Will Present Bidet accept RV tank contents too?
Not my President, not now not ever.
The vox populi demand a dictator.

It really is hilarious how the completely low-info people who voted for Biden because “Orange Man Bad” or “My family always votes Democrat” are actually getting their first really good look at the senile doofus they voted for. The mainstream media always just showed a short soundbite with a tight shot of Joe at the podium. It’s a whole different thing when they watch him shuffle to the podium and try to give an entire speech.
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;
The theory that would allow a President to agree without two thirds of the Senate concurring is that he can use executive powers as he normally might, excepting he does so in accordance with an agreement, without it being a formal Treaty which would bind the next President to continue complying with the agreement.
Shhhh. Don;t tell his lefty followers that, or him for that matter. Let him think he did something.
