How stupid do I/We feel about what happened today??

So I have been duped by Conservatives and Q Followers alike. Trump was supposed to be soooooo close to dropping info to prove Biden stole the election. What happened? Biden is now our president. Nothing on Horowitz. Nothing on Durham. Nothing on Declass. Nothing on stolen elections. Trump packed it up, split town and left us with Biden. Brilliant! It feels like I've been punched in the gut. I'm sure there are others out there that feel the same way. I listened, and bought into, the BS about saving the world... Yadda Yadda Yadda. I am done. I believed the hype and have nobody to blame but myself. That is all. It was fun while it lasted.

The Q thing was wickedly brilliant. From the beginning it carried the odor of an Intelligence operation.

The purpose was, to run out the clock while keeping some very committed people waiting for “IT”. The “IT” that was to be waited upon was the entire ball of wax. The Messiah like person was Trump, who was going to destroy the Deep State.

While it is true that he fought against them, he never had a chance. Only Jesus himself will come back and destroy the Lucifer controlled world. If it were Trump who did so, he would by definition in the Christian world, be the anti-Christ or Christ, take your pick.

I like your take on it, and echo it.

I have no idea how many I convinced, but I did turn 6 family members from D to MAGA. I have no idea if I did the same with my political postings, debates and well written articles by leading lights.

I organized a vape push back from being banned. I worked with the group stopping Sexual education in grade schools, and attended and donated money to American patriots and organization.

I don’t know how much me and the missus donated to DJT, but it is a few thousand between us, and we are both on SS. Probably 10% of our income was spent trying to keep him in office.

How many of your fellow citizens have you personally convinced to vote for Trump?

Trump didn't need others to convince them to vote for him. Trump was able to convince 70M+ to vote for him.

Voting doesn't count anymore.

“Can’t pass and change laws when you got the likes of Ryan and McConnell stabbing you in the back at every turn.”

That’s right. And the lack of leverage Trump had over these guys is why he had limited success in areas that the Repub Swamp wanted to sabotage MAGA.

Think of the lengths Trump had to go against his own party to get the wall built, nafta, immigration enforcement...

I was confused about this statement as well. It clashed with everything else he did.

You apparently missed his speech last month. Go to YT and look for ‘The most important speech I’ve ever made’

I follow Joel Skousen pretty regularly. He had Q pegged as a deep state disinformation op from the beginning. Trump had nothing to do with it. Kudos to you for admitting you were duped though, some neutrons are still hanging on.

Donald Trump is an offensive man. He has contempt for his marriage vows, for the rights of women near him not to be subject to his predatory behavior, for the truth, and for the reasons why America has been a great nation.

Yes, he has been married three times...But, that never bothered me...I think other Trump voters will say the same thing...Yes, some women accused Mr. Trump of sexual misconduct...But, I am not sure if I should believe those women or not...I am skeptical...

He is an egomaniac, and everything during his time as president was subordinated to his egotism. He believes the way to get things done is to insult those who are against him rather than accept his power as POTUS was limited, and therefore he should not go off half-cocked. Still, when one makes these claims, Freepers who have already drunk the Kool-Aid say “No, because TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!”

I mostly agree with your criticism of Mr. Trump's ego...I would not go as far as calling him an "egomaniac"...

The most obvious was illegal immigration, where he shattered the bipartisan consensus in his inimitable style. (Anyone remember how futile Tom Tancredo’s White House campaign was?) His SCOTUS appointments are light years better than Mrs. Clinton’s would have been.

I think Mr. Trump did a fine job on illegal immigration...He made good judicial appointments indeed...

Persuading people that the conservative POV is the correct one is essential. Right now, given the way the country is (and it is that way, like it or not) this is hard work. This all the more true if so many Americans see the avatar of conservatism, Donald J. Trump, as a fundamentally repugnant man. A certain sort of Freeper may be incapable of processing this. But the country is what it is.

Yes, indeed the country is what it is...A lot of people voted for Joe Biden...I don't like that...But, that is the reality...Some FR members are unwilling to admit that many people really hated Mr. Trump and those people were eager to vote for Mr. Biden...

And whining for two months before encouraging people to go down to the Capitol and do what is necessary (and breaking one’s promise to march down with them, which Trump! in his typically cowardly way did in his address on Jan. 6) is not going to persuade the country as it is that the claims of Donald J. Trump, despite the recorded vote totals and refusal of over 50 courts nationwide to acknowledge that that any objection to this is not meritless, that the election was “stolen” deserve any respect.

Going back to your point about Mr. Trump's ego...I think the Capitol rally was organized to console Mr. Trump's ego...An ego trip...Mr. Trump was very frustrated about the election...He wanted to show his critics that his supporters loved him...I am very sad about Ms. Ashli Babbitt...I really feel bad about Trump supporters who were arrested...I read some of their stories...

Yes, in his speech, Mr. Trump asked his supporters to be peaceful...But, he told his supporters to be "strong"...I think some supporters really interpreted that in a wrong way...In any case, Mr. Trump encouraged supporters to show up...

The certainty that people have that Trump! is right because of videos they saw on the internet and the testimony of some people who have some knowledge of statistics (and Sydney Powell and other crackpots) is just not enough. Conservatives from now on need to do better than this. This is the country we live in, deal with it..

Yes, indeed, conservatives need to do better...Some FR members were really desperate to have Mr. Trump serve 4 more years...They were willing to believe anything...

I think some Trump supporters, who were arrested by FBI, probably feel disillusioned just like you...

They may ask, "Why did Trump ask us to show up to DC?"

I truly hope that there aren’t many Trump voters out there like you. We need to fight and organize and we will. The system is corrupt and totally lawless as we now know. Act accordingly.

But one thing I can see:

epic “owns” on twitter are no substitute for getting loyal and competent appointees confirmed.

and insulting the media is not adequate compensation for not passing significant legislation and changes to laws.

Why are you conflating President Trump's exposure of the fake media, which was absolutely necessary, with getting loyal and competent appointees, which was also necessary, and completely undercut by the Swamp?

Nixon knew that to challenge the election would be difficult for the country, so he opted not to do it. His actions then remind me of Trump’s now. Except in Trump’s case, it’s a million times worse.

Nixon's unwillingness to challenge the election emboldened the Mediacracy and led directly to where we are today.

Someone had to challenge the Mediacracy.

President Trump has, and they are exposed.

It is far from over.

The Biden administration does not have the consent of the governed, and they know it, as shown with the massive display of military force in DC.

I liked the twitter attacks and media exposure as much as anyone. But Trump didn’t do as well with appointments.
