No way Trump did better than Reagan in 1984.

But I think your numbers are wrong. Reagan did not win 54%-40%. It was more like 59-41. The third parties did not get that many votes.

Reagan was more liked than Trump. Since there was no Twitter, he didn’t scare snowflakes and Karens and their soyboy husbands with his tweets.

It was a different country then. People then would never have put up with stories being read to little kids in libraries by transvestites.

Too many people have drunk too much Flavor-Aid.

Your DebbieDownerism is getting tiresome. You have not addressed the actual rebuttals several of us have made. Reagan was more liked than Trump?!?!?!

Reagan was far more popular after leaving office than he was before. Kind of “you don’t know what you got til it’s gone”. People realized what a great President Reagan was. When he was in office I remember jokes about him being a B actor or laughter about commercials he did.

Trump had 10s of thousands chanting “we love you” to Trump at rallies. So yes President Trump is indeed more populat than any President.

Yes, Reagan was more liked than Trump.

Reagan is spoken about far more favorably in my circle of friends, family, and acquaintances than Trump, by both people who vote for both Reagan and Trump, both elections, and people who voted for neither, and people who split.

Trump, when it comes right down to it, is just far too masculine for today’s panty waist culture. He scares people. People today are too easily scared.

And how am I being a Debbie-Downer?

Am I saying Trump didn’t win? No, I am not.

Am I saying he did not win by a large, clear margin in a true vote? No, I am not.

Am I saying it won’t be made clear someday, soon, that he he really did win? No, I am not.

Am I saying, the great, stupid horde of idiots who have been taken in by the propaganda all these years won’t discover how much they have been taken in and be chagrined? No, I am not.

I am simply saying many on this forum are giving the electorate far more credit than they deserve. Many of the electorate just are that stupid. Hence, Biden, while he surely lost by at least 5 million votes, got far more votes of the stupid than we might be comfortable with.

But you watch, many of these cowering, stupid, simpering fools will lie to your face in the coming months and tell you they voted for Trump when they told you 3 months ago that they can’t understand how anyone could vote for such a racist, sexist, demented, egotistical, etc. person.
