Faith, I think I am trying to say that these are guys who are drifting through life and have no real center and get sucked up into this life for mostly bad reasons. My impression anyway.

68 million out of 147 million would mean that Biden won 46% of the legal vote and Trump won 54%. I don’t know if 147 million includes virtually all legal votes that can be accounted for, or if a couple of million are left off for the third parties and the number is really 149 million.
If the latter, the percentages are more like 46-53.
I’ve been trying to argue that Trump came in at least 55% and possibly as much as 60%, but I’m a troll.
(I’m not saying you are saying that. I’m just going through the history of this series of posts. Unfortunately I did not take full note of this one in a time appropriate manner.)

First, I’d say your speculation sounds right.
My point was there are large numbers of supporters but only a small minority willing to use violence.
