I don’t know Army shoulder patches that well - but those didn’t look like National Guard - I’m thinking they may have been 10th Mountain? based on what I could see from the badges on the right arms.... nope just checked not 10th Mountain. Definitely not Maryland National Guard as they have a multicolored patch with their state emblem on it.

Patch is a black upper color with two silhouetted white mountain peaks offset from center... maybe a regimental patch? Definitely appears to be active duty though

Another patch with a lightening bolt top left to bottom right and a single star in the upper right

They have US Army tags on their chests not national guard tags.

I didnt recognize the lightning bolt with star in the corner. But the guy towards the end telling everyone to take care of each other look like US Army 1st Cavalry

I see MP and Battle Axe flanked by flight wings, so assuming Air Force.

WHY the 10th Mountain Military??

What is it about them that uniquely qualifies them for this mission?

IIRC - right shoulder patches are for units you have been in combat with. Left shoulder patches are for current command.
