Active duty military obey lawful orders from superiors, resign, or face court martial. All the Generals could resign, but there are those who would obey, and some who would return to active duty if called to support this President.
think of the Insurrection Act and Martial Law as relatives...same family but cousins. Insurrection Act is invoked to enforce current law.

It looks like a giant empty hole in air traffic centered around D.C. There are only two planes in it.

I was watching the Vatican live cam last night and saw it when it was almost completely dark and saw the lights come back on. The difference was unmistakeable.
About a half hour before the lights came on a large emergency vehicle, like an ambulance, came into the circle with lights flashing and sirens on. I looked away for about a minute to post about it and it was no longer in the frame when I looked back.

As to historic significance, all of these things are very interesting to me - I will definitely watch it some time tomorrow. At my age I don’t have much history left, so I need to enjoy it while I can.
At least my grandchildren are going to inherit a better world than I lived in . . . if they can continue to be diligent to watch their republic.

All I’m doing is watching and wondering too. If these speculations and theories are in any way true that’s all us ‘little people’ can do. It would be foolish for anyone to get out there and act on their own right now. This, if true, is truly a clash of titans.
