I agree. Mint seems to be the most “like” windows so is an easy transition.
The problem is I at first downloaded Ubuntu and installed it, while I was copying ISO files out of it I completely clobbered a HD that had about 70GB of data on it. Ubuntu couldn’t see the data. WinXP couldn’t see the data. I downloaded Mint and started it up and it saw the data. So now I get to pull off the cover of my PC and install a hard drive to copy it all off the corrupted drive...
Arghhh!!!!
Throw a external usb drive on it and no need to pull the cover
