I'm fed up with politics!! The whole kit-and-kaboodle!!
Here's why:
The Republican Party has become a nest of teetering, sodded, half-baked senior citizens that do not know what day it is, whether it is a 'meat loaf day', or a day to afford time with the masses who voted them into office. They had a grand moment, to truly change America, and all they did was vote for pay raises for themselves.
The Democratic Party, which at one time decried anything "socialist/communist" as against America, now fully7 and openly embrace the teachings of Marx, Lenin, Castro, and Khrushchev.
I switched and ditched the Libertarian Party because of a dimwit named "Gary". it was the too familiar "it is my turn now", when in fact, that man had his skull firmly implanted into his alimentary canal to where surgery would not help.
I've had enough. I will, never vote for any incumbent, always vote no on State propositions, and am decidedly not interested in any future candidates of any flavor.
I am taking a furlough from politics, until every last human in Congress over 50 years old, has gone to their dirt nap!!!
There are too many now on both sides who aren't going to be Charlie Brown trying to kick a football that Lucy is going to pull away.
We've been honored to have President Trump serve as The Last Legitimate President of These United States and the world owes him an immeasurable debt for exposing the fraud known as government. Forget reading about ancient Rome, he pulled back the curtain on the current one.
Well politics isn’t finished with you. Get you some AstroGlide friend and capitulation won’t hurt so much.
State politics largely controls hospitals, doctors, occupational licensing and housing.
Every school board does what it is told.
It seems to me that once our votes don’t matter anymore, with high tech manipulation of public opinion and outright voter fraud, the only means to affect change to government is through the Second Amendment.
It is also very much that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
For now, to quote Obama, I’ll continue to “cling to my bible and guns” until I see which way this breaks. I believe we will need both to see us through these times.
You may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you. - V. Lenin.
Good luck with that.
Perhaps it’s politics that is finished with us, at least the politics we have always known in America.
Pretend elections, pretend congressional arguing over policy, pretend events put on to sway public opinion (How did the Vietnam War begin?).
One of my questions now is when all this fakery began because it didn’t start with this election. This election is just the most blatant example of mass election fraud ever.
And we are told to just swallow it? Nothing can be done? No reason to vote ever again if you buy that.
That is very profound.
“Apparently the Rats are ‘scared’ and ‘panicking.’”
They know it’s not over. They know very bad information about them (including Biden) exists and could come out.
I don’t know…. but you might have a point. Let me ask a slightly reworded question that I posed elsewhere concerning Georgia.
Given that it was already well understood the Nov. 3 election was rigged by the time the Georgia senate runoff election was held in January, were Lin Wood and Sidney Powell wrong when they encouraged everyone to boycott it? Against that backdrop of electoral fraud in the presidential race, do you still barrel down the field to kick that football that Lucie yanked out of the way the last time…..knowing full well that she’s going to do it again? Or do you thumb your nose at Lucie and tell her you’re going home because you’re not even going to bother to play that game? Which of those two possibilities has the better outcome?
I’m not agreeing with you to ‘walk away from politics’ (at least not permanently) but I’m also not sure what’s the point of voting if one goes into a polling station knowing full well that it’s rigged. I think the point is that everyone needs to step back from all this and completely re-strategize with a clear objective of making sure that the next time it IS fair. Otherwise, I’m taking that furlough too…
“That’s right play into their hands.”
A week ago, I agreed with you and screamed it at the top of my lungs, particularly with respect to the Georgia elections (how boycotting was a dream come true for the Dems). Most agreed with with me here, but far too many didn’t.
Now I’m spending most of my time getting rid of junk so that I can sell my house, and then move out of the country, to a place that is NOT ruled by the Khmer Rouge. Even if my new country isn’t as free, nor as wealthy as this country was, it will be far better than the fate that awaits me, as a Trump supporter.
Is this like a strongly-worded slap on the wrist?
“they said it’s only the second time the congress has been stormed in the same way and that was 1812.”
Much more damage was done when the Capitol was bombed. Bill Ayers and a few others placed the bomb which did a lot of damage.
One of the perps was sentenced to 56 years, got out in 16.
She’s now one of the top leaders of BLM.
“Getting involved in local politics is a way to be effective.”
I’ve done that in past. Govt that is closest to the citizens tends to be more responsive than D.C. govt, which couldn’t care less what people want.
When people show up with guns at your town board meeting and overflow the room you tend to take notice and I’ve seen that happen.
“Now I’m spending most of my time getting rid of junk so that I can sell my house, and then move out of the country, to a place that is NOT ruled by the Khmer Rouge.”
We thought about that, and we have a country where we could go. Our interim plan while we hope for an American comeback was buying a very secluded piece of land, the only way in without walking for miles is a private easement through a large acreage adjacent property, and you have to drive right by that person’s house to get there. It’s our bugout spot about 30 minutes away from our house in town.
It’s good that you’re finished with politics since politics ended completely in November. There are no more politics it’s is just power now.
State politics largely controls hospitals, doctors, occupational licensing and housing.
Every school board does what it is told.“
I disagree with you .
School boards for example can help decide what’s taught, they hire the superintendent and many other things.
An informed individual can have a big influence there.
City councils decide rules and regulations . Council members can push back on leftist policies with the environment and housing for example.
The left has gained power by controlling things locally .
We need to do the same.
I remarked yesterday about all the people cancelling their Twitter accounts, that the time will come when not only having a Twitter account be a requirement to get a job, you’d better say “I Love Big Brother” ad nauseum on it, and not express any contrary opinions.
So what Trump should do is leak it to Assange/Wikileaks. If they release the info in the next day or 2, he pardons them. If they don’t release it, they’re on their own
I think it was Pericles.
