Twitter and social media are like at fast moving open sewer. Occasionally there is a diamond ring in there, but it is not worth putting your hand into the stinky slime.
Rumble is easy as long as you know who or what you’re looking for. Parler still evades me. I make comments and they get deleted? Or I can’t find them? Or I never really posted. Not sure.
Left on Wednesday.
It’s my understanding that Parler requires a verifiable cell # to sign up. That’s a hard no from me.
Twitter, for all their faults, only requires a cell # to get unsuspended. When that happens, and it does frequently, I just make a new account and start over.
Shoulda done a Ma Bell breakup job on the lot of ‘em years back.

Yes, and the NFL’s ratings are down, and Fox News is going to pay the price, and CNN is practically out of business, and so on. Is this really going to kill Twitter? Most people aren’t really into politics. Is he being irrational, or does he know it won’t be a big deal to take a small hit for the cause?
I dumped Twitter today. I made certain that I cleansed the account of my personal information first. I replaced my email with a temp email from a website and changed the account name to a variant of John Gault.

Orwell was an odd person. He went to Spain and fought on the side of one of the communist factions. He saw what communism was and he was a socialist at the time if not communist. He was wounded, it is in doubt if the wound was by Franco’s troops or the internal war of the socialists factions. They did fight against each other. If the did not they would have defeated Franco.
He went home to England but still a socialist but his love of communism was dead. He had a flat in London on Portobello Road. At that time very cheap but today of extreme price.
He decided to go to the Isle Of Jura off the Scottish Coast to finish his greatest book 1984. When finished he returned to London and died from Tuberculosis.
