I saw reported on another site that he has a friend who lives in Paris and said no outage and that they turn off the lights on the Eiffel tower every night.
Anyone here know if that's true?

Check the webcams for those locations.
I’m looking for the webcam website now; one can type in a location and see the view from there.

Concur. You encapsulated what I had not put into so many words.
Well done, sir!
thanx for locating the MARSH V ALABAMA decision. here’s an excerpt from the as related to Articles 1 & 14:
In its conclusion, the Court stated that it was essentially weighing the rights of property owners against the rights of citizens to enjoy freedom of press and religion. The Court noted that the rights of citizens under the Bill of Rights occupy a preferred position. Accordingly, the Court held that the property rights of a private entity are not sufficient to justify the restriction of a community of citizens’ fundamental rights and liberties.

Most interviews are ~45min-hr, can run at 1.25-1.5x if the format allows. If there are specific topics, I could direct you to time mark, maybe. Closed captioning helps find content.

Of course, they don’t, peasant. Perhaps you should have sent it on the letterhead of some Big Pharma company or of some crooked defense contractor.
The story below it is “Ireland Sinking At Rapid Rate Due To Excess Christmas Weight”.

Been seeing questions on diabling auto updates on phones, apple phones seem to be easy to do, some android phones not so easy.
My phone (and others here from reading comments) does not have an option to disable when going to settings/system updates.
Did a search and discovered the following instructions if you cannot see a option to diable updates on your android phone:
There’s another setting you should be able to toggle to disable automatic system updates, but it’s a little buried. Pull up Settings again and scroll down until you see the “About phone” section. Tap on that. Then, tap on the “Software Information” section, and scroll down until you see “Build Number.” Start tapping on that section until your device says that you’ve enabled “Developer mode.”
Then, head back to your primary Settings screen and scroll down. You should see a new “Developer options” section near “About phone.” Tap on it, and then look for the “Automatic system updates” option. Make sure it’s not enabled. That should prevent your phone from receiving automatic updates. But to be super-super sure, you can also purchase and sideload the Package Disabler Pro app. You’ll then use this to disable your device’s Software Update feature, which will keep it on the current version of your operating system forevermore.
Just did the above on my Samsung S8+ and was able to disable auto updates.
Please read at the link to save space here. Short wave was the original radio invented by Marconi, Tesla and I suppose others. It was used internationally because of what is called 'skip' - the broadcast signal could hit the ionoshpere and bounce back to the ground, then bounce back to the ionosphere and so forth.
Calling a 100 meter length signal today 'short wave' is laughable. Microwave signals and cell phones use a tiny fraction of a meter in length. But short wave can skip while the higher frequencies are 'line of sight'.
About SKIP: obviously the more power you use to drive the signal the more distance you can achieve. Short wave uses almost solely AM (amplitude modulation) and at night just the ground wave (before skip) can be extensive with enough power. Some of our oldest radio stations on AM are powerful, at night, with 50,000 watts (amplitude) of power.
Short wave radio receivers today are almost all digital, which makes finding the frequency you want much easier. A good receiver needs a long antenna; most digital receivers accomplish this - to some extent - with a small 'loop antenna' internally. However, the longer antenna that you can put up - at the desired frequency length - the better the reception.
This is more than I intended to post. If you have no knowledge of the medium you should study it, starting with the Wiki article. :^)

If they are under a comms restriction, I won’t get any response from my daughter or grandchildren.
But, no response isn’t uncommon in normal times.

Bragg community is REALLY agitated about the communist moves in government.

ThankQ for the info re: Ft Bragg.

Since the article was from August 2018, yes, the 2018 picture was taken today. Definitely, definitely not Photoshopped (hat tip to Rainman).
That happens when they eat too many Christmas potatoes.
We need to send in Seal Team 6 to save Allie.
