It is pathetic how these Republican’s can talk about states rights and how the vote must be accepted. Votes should be sacrosanct, but only legal votes. People like Rand Paul, Graham, McConnelly etc don’t want to address the fraud and voting machine crimes because it is too hard. They have no problem taking rights away from States if it suits them. They are phoneys and are using the states rights excuse to justify their inaction in the face of rampant fraud in those swing states that didn’t even follow their own laws.

Yes many states did just that and it wasn’t exactly at the last minute.

PENCE
Pence had days to deliberate, call states if he wished to discuss.

Pence had all rights to table certain Electors for a little time to give states time as they urgently pleaded and requested from him.

And he blew them off.

PAUL
Rand Pail is being Rand Paul.

One day he’s great. Next day he’s crap.

Rand Paul's argument would have some merit if it were not true that federal courts regularly rule on the ways in which states conduct elections, and the federal government has enacted laws that regulate in detail how states can conduct elections. If states are truly able to select their electors any way they want to how can the federal government and courts have jurisdiction over them?

How can the voting rights act apply to states if they have an unfettered right to select presidential electors any way they want?

Rand Paul is simply wrong. If Rand Paul really believed his own words he would have to argue that the United States Government had no authority over how the states select presidential electors, or how they conduct presidential elections. He doesn't believe that, but is just saying words he hopes nobody thinks about.

What if the States overturned the verdict of the people’s votes??

Rand Paul is a pussy who always looks for an excuse to bitch, bitch, bitch, but NEVER accept or offer a solution to anything, and he always finds faults with anyone else offering solutions.

These Republicrats think they will thrive under the largess of their Democrat benefactors. That will be true until the Democrats spend back to the ground the Republicrats are standing on. It happened to Romney and McCain. By then it will be impossible for them to turn to their conservative allies. They won’t have any.

But outside spending from big-money super PACs, political parties and “dark money” groups benefits Republicans. Conservative groups have outspent liberal groups $221 million to $105 million since Nov. 3.

In the Georgia senate races there was more than twice as much outside money from Republicans than Democrats.

The equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment trumps Article 2 and the 12th Amendment. The contested states owe the rest of us a fair, honest election. They have a duty to be competent. They have failed in that duty.

They are not supposed to certify the electoral votes when there are two opposing sets of electors from one or more states.

The remedy IS NOT to certify questionable electors - the remedy is to settle the dispute with a debate and then one vote from each state.

The Constitution had been used as toilet paper by most of Congress.

That’s only because Republicans report their spending.

The Democrats don’t bother.

Rand Paul on the Senate floor: “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Rand Paul has lots of company:

John Roberts “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”
Brett Kavanaugh “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Amy Coney Barrett “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Neil Gorsuch “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Mitch McConnell “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

kevin McCarthy “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Mike Pence “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

and on and on and on and on and on and on it goes——

‘’’What are the chances of election reform? No more mail in ballots with a few exception, stopping vote canvasing, getting rid of fraud inspiring voting systems, voter ID etc?”””

Why do we need election reform? According to the bloviating congress critters yesterday there was no fraud in this election. Didn’t you get the email? (sarc)

The Republican road to riches:

1. Elect me so I can stop them.
2. Now that I’m elected, I don’t have the power.
3. Re-elect me so I can stop them.

Oh, don’t worry.... they’ll admit to the fraud and how Trump really won in a landslide eventually.

Of course, it’ll be at a time where it’s much too late to right any wrong..

RE: Rand Paul on the Senate floor: “I can’t vote to overturn the verdict of States”

Rand Paul is being disingenuous. Just two weeks ago, I saw him on video stating that he believes there was massive fraud perpetrated in this election.

See here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDMPmNbhCQA

and here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_u6e5yZTq0

If he sincerely believes what he said, then it has to follow that what was submitted to Congress was NOT the real verdict of the states. It was a fraudulent, unconstitutional verdict that subverted the will of the voters of these disputed states.

So, his use of the word “overturn” is out of place here ( that is, if he believes his own speech ). The right word to use is to RESTORE the verdict of the states.

So, does he or does he not believe that the election results were fraudulent as he himself said so?

Now, if he is not sure that the fraud was insignificant to have changed the official result, what’s his problem with MAKING SURE that this is indeed so?

Ted Cruz was not proposing to give the results to Trump but to simply give the state legislature the chance (10 days) to investigate their outcome to see if the electors were indeed chosen correctly.

Several states had legislators officially write letters to Congress to request a delay in certifying the result, GIVING THEM TIME TO DETERMINE IF THEIR CERTIFICATION WAS INDEED CORECT IS *NOT* OVERTURNING THE VERDICT OF THE STATES. It is giving them a chance to determine if their verdict was indeed correct.

What’s Rand Paul’s problem with this?

“verdict of the States”

And you don't know what that verdict was until you enforce one lawful citizen one undiluted vote.
