I don’t agree with Pence on his earlier conclusion however I can respect that he made his decision based on what he thought was legal and ethical.....

I don’t like it......

[Pence is not running. Guaranteed.

The United States of America is a pagan nation. Americans are deathly afraid of anyone in political office who lives a public life of decency and integrity.

As VP, Pence was in the only role that really suited him in Washington: He latched onto a brash, zany presidential candidate and helped temper that candidate’s credentials so that evangelical Christians wouldn’t find him repulsive. ]

The more I see of him, the more I like him. He understands the limits of the office and doesn’t stick it to his own people. I hope he reconsiders quitting politics. If Trump doesn’t run in 2024, he could do worse than endorsing Pence.

“It may be fun to maintain my Republican voter registration status just to be able to vote in the primaries ...”

A very valid reason indeed..

” he turned his back on Trump and he was responsible for the treatment of General Flynn “

And don’t forget he foisted Fauci and Birx on the country to put in motion the steal of the election via their fear porn.

do not know how I would have handled things yesterday if I were in his shoes.

He could have resiigned and said he didnt want any part of this sham. Or just mot have done it and said the same thing. That was the play.

LOL...Pence’s political career is OVER.

Oh, I agree. But the amount of smoke being blown up Pence’s arse by the swamp GOPe must be immense. He no doubt has a very high opinion of himself at this point.

Perhaps Pence has no intention of handing his newfound power over to Biden. Ya know, “for the sake of stabilizing the country .” Then it would really be a full-on banana republic coup.

LOL. That is a hilarious image.

Trump went along to get along. Trump pushed for a McConnell candidate one 2018 race as I recall who was a true blue RINO. Trump also backed the GOP designated candidate in the AZ race and she was a mess. The GOP was pushing a slate of candidates and Trump followed their lead. That was his real mistake. Trump had very long coattails and he carried the Senate over the line in 2018 and nearly took the House this time around.

This is why the GOP needs to slow the RATS role the next few days. They will need Trump's coattails if they plan to get the Senate back in 2022. Trump brings voters to the table. Without Trump the GOP is screwed, they need to let more information come out over the next few days and let more info on ANTIFA’s involvement get into the system. The GOP is dead right now, if they go after Trump they will be buried.

Easy question. Pence was on the ballot, too. He needed be using his mainline GOP gravitas to support efforts to stop the steal. Instead, he want to vacation to Florida and remained AWOL for two months while his GOPe buddies obstructed President Trump’s efforts to stop the steal.

Again, conspiracy theory.

What was he suppose to do?

How do you stop the steal after it was stolen?

Lin Wood, Powell did everything they could to grab the lime light and turn this into a freakin circus. For what?

Do you have the verbiage on that? I’ve looked and looked and never could find it.

That is a separate issue.

Pence could have rounded up his buddies, robbed all the local liquor stores, then proceeded to firebomb the White House with Molotov cocktails.

Sure this act may hurt his employment chances going forward, but it would not alter the fact that a VP is restricted to just opening envelopes and tabulating the contents. All rejections of electors had to come from some where else.

Nope. Not a separate at all. Politics is a daily grind. The GOP response to the steal was designed to fail because they want Trump gone. It’s not possible to parachute in after two months the election and win.

Immediately after election day Pence needed to be on the horn with the GOP Senate and RNC insisting that they light fires under state GOP. Instead state and national GOP played hot potato and ran out the clock. Pence didn’t want to support POTUS. It’s that simple.

“What was he suppose to do?”

Obvious and present moral support of our president would’ve been nice.

Pence will never win, and Trump will probably never endorse him for that reason alone. Trump hates losers more than he hates Nancy Pelosi.

So your saying that a VP has a greater role than just opening envelopes and tabulating the contents? The constitution disagrees with you, not me.

I agree that his part was ceremonial but when there is obvious evidence of fraud, how can he count votes from the states that were not only fraudulent but contrary to their states constitution.
He doesn’t have the authority to reject votes, fine. Does he have to accept votes that were obtained by electoral fraud, according to the constitution?

He could have refused to count those states electoral votes and let the USSC sort it out.

It may not have changed the outcome but it would have at least put the onus on the court. It may have given the justices a chance to give a correct ruling. JMHO
