Not fair to lay the entire responsibility of win/lose on Mike Pence.
No, no, no, a thousand times no. Pence has no authority to do anything but preside and count. Congress itself has no authority to change anything.
The states have certified their electors and there isn’t a single disputed slate in a single state that has been sent that would need Congressional involvement at all, both constitutionally and statutorily. Everything that happens today is ceremonial and ministerial.
What started with some legitimate questions about state legislative election authority vis-a-vis other state actors has descended into dark farce and lies, bordering on sedition. Once the state legislators decided they were ok with the voters’ choice of electors and didn’t defend whatever prerogatives they felt may have been traduced, that was it.
The idea that a single person, the Vice President, has the authority to intervene in an election in the 50 states is preposterous heading toward insane. Could anyone imagine Biden in January 2017 stepping in and trying to overturn Trump’s win and installing Hillary? Ridiculous on every level.
Only to have Congress immediately impeach him.
Pence can refuse to preside and count. I think that was what Chuck Grassley was alluding to when he said he may preside over the counting if Pence “wasn’t available or had to leave suddenly”. The threat to the capitol building might have been another reason why Pence “might not be there”!
It may or may not mean anything constitutionally if the VP simply refuses to show up but it least Pence doesn’t have to put his name onto the documents for a fraudulent election.
Remember, think long term. The 'Rats have been sowing the seeds for precisely this kind of outcome for a long time. They've done it with things like motor voters laws, no voter signature verification, no ID requirement, mail-in voting, and early voting options. All of those are controlled at the state level, and all are ripe for fraud. That's where the real battles were fought, and we lost.
IMHO, Pence wants nothing to do with running in 2024.....
so why not go out willing to lay down your life for what is right?
Hoping he sees he is like Esther - put in his place for this time - and that he acts like she did.
But I must confess that I am not hopeful.
With Dems controlling congress, Trump will be impeached in a nanosecond.
The problem is that if Trump should pull this out the Dems. would have him impeached and convicted before the end of January.

So Pence gonna be the scapegoat for all this? Yeah I don’t think so. Trump should look inside and start accepting some blame. The 24/7 nonsense tweets. The awful first presidential debate. Etc.
Pence is a career politician. The idea he wouldn’t be interested in running for POTUS is silly.
What us stopping immediate impeachment and removal?

I would assume if Pence doesn’t back Trump today, Biden is inaugurated on Jan 20. But, in that case I expect Trump to go scorched earth with de-classifications, evidence dumps, and/or pardons. And I also expect the Union won’t last much longer (though, that may be true in any event). Watch for the reaction from states that ran clean elections in 2020 (like Florida) when the Fed tries to force their universal mail-in ballot horror show on them.

I wish I could muster your level of optimism (or delusion, if that is what engulfs you). I’m a fighter and a fighter needs to recognize that they’ve been knocked down. We have been knocked down in Georgia. But we need to gather ourselves and plan for the fight... and it will be a YEARS LONG fight.
2021 will be a war with many battles in many states over reapportionment. We must engage in TOTAL WAR to win those battles TOTALLY in the states we control. And we control many states. Our reapportionment victories must include victories in redrawing both US congressional district lines and state legislature district lines. And we must be RUTHLESS in drawing those boundaries, as ruthless as the DemocRATS have been in California. Our state legislatures must pass barriers to election fraud so strong and FOOL PROOF that even the most determined and well funded Soros-owned Secretary of State will be unable to breach.
While engaged in those reapportionment WARS, we must also MASSIVELY RESIST all adverse actions undertaken by the anti-American Globalists empowered in Washington D.C.
We must be REALISTS but we must NOT be DEFEATISTS.
Trump won the election in an absolute landslide.
He did his part - how bad or good his presidential debate(s) and tweets were is completely immaterial.
I’ve been saying it’s over for weeks & the irrational FReepers told me to get off the board, accused me of being a lib bot & being negative.
So just for them I’ll say it again.

Stop whining & start planning your next move.
There is a lot of talk Pence is either going to be arrested or resign. I don’t trust him for chit. Trump needs to put Flynn in that slot for the second term.
I admire Trump’s persistence. But hahahaha. Deep State and Uniparty have moved on. The Corona relief joke showed that it was back to business as usual.
