Sidney Powell Makes the Point that This 10 Day audit Commission is designed to drag things out until we all go home. Cruz, why didn't we audit weeks ago?

The Last Refuge tweeted: Cruz had 2 whole months to speak up, SILENCE Then at the last moment -knowing Hawley just lit fuse on a roll call vote- he asks for a "commission" that would just (coincidentaly) push back acceptance of electoral votes until Trump supporters have left town.

Sidney replied:

@SidneyPowelli It is impossible not to see the fraud here unless one is a communist or part of it or part of the coup @realDonaldTrump @senatemajldr @SenateGOP @freedomcaucus @HouseGOP @JosephJFlynn1

a ten day investigation might turn up a few more facts but they aren’t needed ... it is clear as a bell that the DNC attempted to steal the election ,..and also how they did it

there are so many “Cruz is wasting our time with his 10 day delay” postings here that I will venture to offer a different POV, just for the heck of it and to see if anyone agrees

namely, that Cruz assesses the situation to get another “cover” for the Congress Truing the Vote and affirming PDJT’s victory. This way, Congresscritters from DNC-controlled disticts can tell their constituents that THE WHOOPDIE DOO SPECIAL INVESTIGATORY SUPER COMMISSION FOUND that PDJT won, that his inauguration was not just a partisan Congressional act

or something like that. In short, it MIGHT be that Senator Cruz is honest about restoring PDJT’s victory. We will soon see, one way or the other

I neither like him nor trust him.

I agree.

Ben Carson probably doesn’t trust him, either.

Biden isn’t going to be President.

Biden isn’t going to be the nominee. Biden won’t make it to the general election. How did those predictions work out?

Consider that part of the problem with late audit is that GOPe leads from the rear imo.

I am having trouble connecting how a huge multitude in Washington DC will have the slightest impact on how the deep state will vote Wednesday. They will merely preen and posture and solemnly and courageously intone to the nation how little they are influenced by a mob of Trump supporters/deplorables, and how they will vote to reflect the will of the American people rather than the will of Trump, a new line I heard on the local news yesterday.

Looks like I am vainly waiting for Trump to use the authority of his office to stop the steal. Cannot understand it. Will never understand it. Of all the people in the world to have faith that Congress will do what is right and honest.

Cruz oscillates between his Good Guy role and his Bad Guy role.

Cruz is very good at one thing, getting himself in the spotlight. He has improved his image with many since the primary election in 2016. It makes one wonder who his Doctor Higgins actually has been. The beard would have been a bad move for many but it is definitely an improvement for him. And he has also worked on his voice; I doubt that anyone misses his formerly common high pitched nasally squeak. But sadly as far as substance goes he is as inconsistent as ever.

Sydney Powell is correct, calling for another do nothing federal commission with a ten day limit is likely not to be helpful and just delay something that should be dealt with right now. It looks like a weaselly... look at this hand while we install Biden with the other hand maneuver. The fraud is obvious, the evidence has been covered up and hidden by judges, the media, the Democrats and Republican insiders like Cruz.

The case needs to be laid out and presented to the American public in the open in a big way right now... not ten days from now. Anything else is a cowardly stall tactic. Rip the band-aid off now and expose this festering smelly gangrenous wound to the sunlight before the entire leg has to be hacked off. If that is not what Cruz has in mind then he is part of the problem and not the solution.

When is the last time. A “bipartisan commission” did anything but delay, obfuscate, bury, and give cover for legislators to either avoid voting or vote on the side of corruption?

I don’t think the deep state is too concerned about the Jan 6 rally.

I see it as a plus if the Senate decides to halt the process and look at the evidence of fraud.

I am highly suspicious of anything Ted Cruz is involved in. This smells like a maneuver to ultimately legitimize Biden. Why a 10 day deadline? What are the parameters of the audit? Are they calling for audits of the voting machines? If not forget it.

I love how certain FR snowflakes can always explain how the good news is really bad news.

Senators Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and a couple hundred other Republican members are declaring that on Wednesday, they will formally object, on live TV, to the certification of electors of the contested states, and demand a ten day fraud investigation.

The American people will see for the first time that the allegations of blatant election fraud and coverup are serious and have not been debunked as the fake news has been telling them.

They will see Republican Senators claim “This election was stolen!”.
They will see Democrat Senators say “That has all been debunked!”

They will see Republican Senators ask “How, exactly, was it debunked?”

They will see Republican Senators ask how these claims can possibly have been debunked...

When our evidence has not even been heard in court?
When timely access to critical evidence has not even been granted?
When timely access to key witnesses has not been granted?
When our questions have not even been answered?
When audit trails have been purposely erased?
When chain of custody best practices have been flagrantly violated?“

“Explain to the American people how you can guarantee - certify - that these elections were free and fair.”

They will see Democrat Senators with no good answer.

Thanks to Cruz and these others the American people will see all that.

And that’s a bad thing. Got it.

For someone who poses as a champion for pure Constitutionalism, this whacky idea for a commission made up of RINOs, democRATS and duty shunning Supreme Court globalists is pure insanity; unless Cruz INTENDS to coronate the corrupt Biden & Harris. The COTUS mentions NO ad hoc commission. It clearly says what is needed. The VP evaluates the Electoral Votes, and a Rep and a Senator can challenge any or all; and so forth.

For a supposedly top notch lawyer, Sidney sure doesn't seem to know her basic Election law.

The date of 1/6 is called out very plainly in USC Title 1, Chapter 3.

Link

Congress shall be in session on the sixth day of January succeeding every meeting of the electors. The Senate and House of Representatives shall meet in the Hall of the House of Representatives at the hour of 1 o’clock in the afternoon on that day, and the President of the Senate shall be their presiding officer. Two tellers shall be previously appointed on the part of the Senate and two on the part of the House of Representatives, to whom shall be handed, as they are opened by the President of the Senate, all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes, which certificates and papers shall be opened, presented, and acted upon in the alphabetical order of the States, beginning with the letter A;

So unless Congress plans on ignoring THIS law in addition to all the other laws that have been ignored or broken in this election cycle to date, I wouldn't anticipate any change to the votes actually being COUNTED on 1/6, as prescribed by law.

So, Sidney claiming that there is some "scheme" to push the count back "until the Trump supporters go home" is just more nonsense from someone who's track record on nonsense the past couple of months has not been great..

Dido, I have never liked or trusted Ted Cruz. I vote for him since he votes the right way most of the time. But he’ll put a knife in your back in a NY second if he thinks it will help him politically.

There is a truckload of evidence. There are VIDEOS. People have come forward and said they saw it and were told to engage in it.
GIVE TRUMP HIS WIN.
Then Cruz can have his meeting about what they are going to DO about the CCP committing an ACT OF WAR and what they are going to do about the insurrectionists THAT HELPED THE CCP.

Not to get off topic, but has anyone noticed all the Repub. politicians dying lately from “Covid”? 6 so far......

The TickTok video mentions three people dying “from” “complications” from “Covid”. My brother-in-law was on hospice care for a cancerous brain tumor. When he died his death was called “presumptive Covid” because last March we didn't have Covid tests available to confirm whether he had been exposed or not. He may have been... lots of people came to visit him, he had a compromised immune system from the “Chemo” treatment and he lived in the first confirmed Covid hotspot.

Either way the entire “presumptive Covid” cause of death was ridiculous... Even our leftist media in this state has found scores of people who died from gunshot wounds, being stabbed, getting run over who have all been said to have died from “complications of Covid”. The state department of health promised to clean up their act, but they did not.

Last summer a study was done in this area using antibody tests and it concluded that ten times the number of people had been exposed or gotten over covid than the number of cases that had been reported. The study was poo-pooed and the time but at this point it appears that it was probably pretty accurate. I looked into each of the cases mentioned and I cannot tell if any of them died “from” Covid or whether each died “with” Covid.

Whatever the commission decides, it’s still up to Pence to accept or reject the electors.
