Just came back from a little retail therapy. Proby is mad because I didn’t buy him anything so he’s attacking my feet.
Rush is sounding optimistic that the GOP will make a comeback.

But she also makes individual size cheesecakes to sell. She picks the flavors based on what she can find available at a good price. I remember last year she posted on Facebook that she found Andes mints on clearance at the local grocery, so she was making chocolate mint flavor for awhile! She has 10-12 flavors available every day. Charges $5 each for regular and $6 each for keto (2-3 flavors of that).
I can make it over there after work even though it's on the other side of town. I don't think I've had any in a year.

People on this site STILL don’t seem to have an understanding of the people WE have repeatedly elected into office!! I can’t believe that they would STILL be willing to vote for these betraying bastards to be able to hold the senate OR the house!! GEEZE people WAKE THE HELL UP for Trumps first two years WE HAD the senate AND the house and we got the middle finger from them! If you are STILL thinking we can take back our country with THIS senate and house you need to WAKE THE HELL UP!!! There are MAYBE 10 real fighters in BOTH of those bodies of government on OUR SIDE!!! Voting on the lesser of two evils is NO LONGER an option for us if we lose we lose NO PAIN NO GAIN!!!

We’ll se exactly what cowards Senate Rs are going to be, maybe as early as tomorrow, in this session by 2 issues:
Consent to hold committee meetings while the Senate is in session, and consent to allow other business to be conducted during the Impeachment.
I believe both require unanimous consent so can be blocked by a single Member.
Of course the Dems can “nuke” those rules- but that would also tie up the Senate. And the Dems want to move quickly.
Mitch will want to make a “power sharing” agreement with Schumer, so that’s our weak spot.
Why aren’t the swaths of flags in red/white/blue order?
Might not have to wait for tomorrow; they’re talking to Biden’s Cabinet nominees starting today.
