How about, instead of a new thread every 2 or 3 days, we make this the 2021 thread? We could try to break the internet, or at least FR, with a thread that has 500,000 or so posts. At least no one would get stuck in festival.

Some have said that threads tend to break into disarray and if it goes on too long, one has to dodge bar stools upon entering the premises.

Starting a new thread seems to help break the acceleration toward terminal velocity. :D

And the old thread is great for parking stuff you may want to find again as well as to finish some gung fu fightin’. new threads are great for getting a fresh start.
