What is Zicam? I’m trying to figure out the best kind of zinc to have on hand, I normally don’t take mineral or vitamen supplements. And maybe it’s a good thing they put you on hold... I haven’t researched the vax at all but whatever I happen to see I read some of; sort of mixed bag to me. I don’t want to get covid since I’m the kind that would get it badly most likely so like to have Dr. Z’s protocol on hand.
In the cold medicine section of your favorite store.
“The only biologically active ingredients present in Zicam Cold Remedy are zinc acetate (2X = 1/100 dilution) and zinc gluconate (1X = 1/10 dilution). Other sources list the ionic zinc content as “33 mmol/L of zincum gluconium”.
IIRC, zinc picolinate is a more bioavailable type. Also, when supplementing with zinc-remember that you may need some additional copper now and then.
Look for it in the cold remedy section of the pharmacy. It has a fairly good reputation for abbreviating the common cold. It attracts me because it is sublingual.
Zinc is already well indicated against CoViD and is obviously accepted as a fair antiviral against colds; I don't know about the seasonal flu. Zicam also contains ascorbic acid (obviously Vit C) and some magnesium. You might wish to study the labeled ingredients; it is said that it is not an approved homeopathic product.
Wikipedia says of the name: The Zicam name is derived from a portmanteau of the words "zinc" and "ICAM-1" (the receptor to which a rhinovirus binds in order to infect cells).
***maybe it’s a good thing they put you on hold... I haven’t researched the vax at all***
I am not much disappointed; I mostly called to ask some questions about my two negative CoViD tests and my status with a negative antibody test; I hung on the phone, I suspect, to prove a point to myself. :)
Question:
If you are on a “supplement” interference regimen or an OTC anti-virus regimen, e.g., Ivermectin.
Will getting the vaccine actually work for you?
Wouldn’t these actually STOP the dead virus in the vaxx from invading your system?
