I’ve been trying to guess what might be a way forward. Here are some ideas.
1. If there is no vice-president, the president pro tem becomes the presiding officer. That is Chuck Grassley.
2. After unleashing massive evidence between now and the 6th, Senators and Representatives (among others) are arrested for treason. State legislators in contested states are also arrested.
3. These legislatures vote to send a different slate of electors with all the derps arrested and the rest scared to do anything differently.
4. Corrected slate of electors declares a Trump win. A few Dems protest but they don’t stand a chance.
I can dream.
Im not pulling my hair out jntil Jan 20.
I think that POTUS has plenary power to enforce the law (which the Legislators made, btw) and as CinC.
He is long suffering in allowing the States to correct their action AND take proper steps against the criminals.
It only takes one State to fess up anx the rest will collapse.
I am looking at this in the same way history portrayed Lincoln and the slave states.
The same results WILL happen if the upstart states hold to their seditious positions.
If the Southern states attitude was “thems /our/ slaves” then how different is it to claim “thems /our/ elections”?
Future proves the past.
