Maybe I'm alone here, but I feel like I learned a lot of dark lessons this year.
I thought I was already cynical and anti-government enough already back in 2019.
Little did I know.
What did you learn in 2020 that you didnt know before?
We used to shake our heads over lying media outlets like Pravda in the Soviet Union, yet the same type of papers publish propaganda right her in River City, USA. I knew it before, but after this year, I REALLY know it.
Half didn’t vote for it, but they do accept it.
Don’t ever trust what the government tells you.
The people are pussies. They let their dictator governors shut them down.
I always thought there is no way to shut down the dynamo of our economy, but I saw it shut down over night.
That the majority of people, by and large, are evil beyond belief.
Not all, but most.
In 2020 our doctors proved that hiring for reasons other than merit kills people.
“I learned that I actually lived long enough to witness first hand the End of our Constitutional Republic.”
Man I know what you mean. It makes me so depressed and sick at heart. I’m too old to do much. I have watched all these arm chair generals saying how we will rise up, etc. I would not count on it.
I’m not counting on any miracle.
I wish I was wrong but I’m not going to turn myself into a Pretzel to show how POTUS will win in the end.
I disagree with you there. "Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." When governments refuse to exercise those powers properly, both the power and the responsibility reverts back to the people. Real justice can be had in this country. It may be an ugly process, but it is also necessary.
When the problem is street crime and the police refuse to protect us, the answer is Paul Kersey, Dirty Harry, or Curtis Sliwa's Guardian Angels. Or shoot, shovel, and shut up. When the problem is corruption at the highest levels, the answer is George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee, or their modern equivalent.
"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" to quote a socialist popular with today's left. The American people, so long as we remain armed, have the power to restore the rule of law. Those of us who have been hoping that would not be necessary learned the facts in 2020. The system can no longer correct itself through the soap box, the ballot box, or the jury box.
>>>Half didn’t vote for it, but they do accept it<<<
Half had no clue what they Voted for. They were convinced to hate POTUS Trump for a myriad of reasons and they acted like the good little Sheep the DNC Media worked to create.
Willful Ignorance is the only excuse they have and in this day and age with every bit of Man’s knowledge at your fingertips it doesn’t fly with me.
They are Lazy unintelligent fools and their actions have destroyed everything America stood for.
I keep thinking of the end of the original Planet of the Apes (written by Rod Serling BTW) where Charleton Heston’s Character sees the wreckage of the Statue of Liberty buried in the sand.
Conservatives Vote to be Governed, Leftists Vote to be Ruled.
Masks kill.
To never, ever, ever believe anything the government ever tells you.
That I needed more tp.
That I underestimated the stupidity of the average American.
Lobster brain is edible.
We always thought there was a “margin of fraud” in elections, an R could win big enough to be beyond a feasible steal. Either that’s no longer the case, or the margin isn’t what we thought it was.
That if you have the town crier, the town cop, and the town judge in your back pocket you can get away with anything, even stealing a national election.
I don’t believe he failed... others failed him.
The republic died in 1988. We are just realizing it now
