When he came on it took about 5 minutes to changed my mind. The new guy was funny and not afraid of anyone.
He gave conservatives confidence to battle with lefties. He also changed some minds, especially "young minds of mush."
I hope and pray you are right, FRiend. Losing Rush is like losing a good friend I've had for 30 years.
The last half hour of his show today was unbelievably heartbreaking... I was in tears.

I love Rush Limbaugh. I’ve learned so much from him, he feels like family.
Mrs. RWA had polyps and they took them when they found them.
Her prep drink was horrible and it not 'efficient' and the kept going. We had her sitting on a think towel on the way to the place.
My guy gave my stuff that I mixed with orange Gatorade. Tasted fine and Worked great worked well.
My story is similar. In 1993 Rush informed me that I had become something called a "conservative." I had no idea. Rush changed my life.
Even without a second term, Trump will be a leader of the opposition like the left has never seen. America has not yet been destroyed.

In the last 9 months I've had 3 people close to me die. When he dies, now or years from now, it will hurt.
I began listening his first day of national syndication. I think my wife, mom, MIL and brothers are about my only other life constants.

lets not give up on our Rush just yet....he says he wants to be able to do his show as long as he can.....

Sorry for your losses. We lost my father in law to cancer in November. He was diagnosed three months earlier. It took him fast and was horribly cruel.
I have known Rush nearly as long as my father in law. Spent many many more hours with Rush, started listening in 1994.
Rush has always been honest and forth coming with his audience. If this had been his last show he would have told us that it was.
When I heard his comments on the expiration date, I did not read that as he has been given six months to live. I read it as he will eventually regardless of how hard he fights succumb to cancer. The doctors gave my mother five years, she died damn near exactly five years to the day given. That is cancer. I suspect he knows his time is near maybe six months maybe a year or maybe a little more. But he is closer to God today then yesterday.
I believe that if he cannot do the show anymore he will come on the air and tell us his viewers are a part of his family. However, if it were me, I would come on the air, make the show one of my best ever, sign off as usual. Leave us with one last slam bang finish. Rush is a bit of an entertainer.
But, leave the wakes and the eulogy for that day when it comes. I thought he looked tired but healthier then I have seen him in a while. So until he tells us goodbye until he tells us he is signing off, I expect to listen to him next year.
Agreed - will be praying for him.

Grew up in the Chicago south side and listened to WLS when it as rock and I was in grade school. Later learned on many trips back it went conservative talk. I grew up with that station.
I first discovered my conservatism when I was in middle school. We had a 9 inch round screen Raytheon TV in our basement. Found this guy with the weirdest accent I had ever heard, William F. Buckley. As I listened I thought he made a lot of sense.
(My dad thought it was weird a kid would watch a political show but he started to watch it with me)
When I came across Rush (and about the same time FR on Prodigy and the Wash Time) I knew I wasn’t alone.
He has been a blessing to this nation.
I think he was saying goodbye.
