He needs to appoint the special counsel immediately and get subpoenas and US Marshalls to confiscate the voting machines right away. Then arrest about 6 members of the house for treason to give the majority back to the GOP. These 4 actions may get a headline or two.

I used to think that students who studied ancient Rome and how the Roman republic was lost, turned into a dictatorship, were..... well, unrealistic to spend their time in school learning about such antiquated, out-dated events I was wrong.

Agree and I have Monday morning quarterbacked history as well. I would think, why didn’t they stop Hitler when his troops illegally entered the Rhineland? Why didn’t Europe form alliances against Napoleon much earlier than they did? But now we know, that you have to make hard decisions to confront evil. And those decisions have a price to pay. And it’s difficult. But they must be made.

So now we are OK to anoint a common thief and criminal as leader of the free world? Never in my 60+ years in this country as immigrant I have been so disappointed. This is even worse than re-election of the community organizer from Chicago. Unbelievable how many elected politicians and almost all those in black robes are ignoring the theft of the most powerful job in United States of America.

Why is Trump campaigning for Loeffler and Perdue when they refuse to support him?

Should he campaign instead for Ossoff and Warnock? And both Loeffler and Perdue supported Ken Paxton's lawsuit.

What additional support should they offer President Trump that would be useful?

"What do you think Trump’s options are to continue into a second term?"

I'm not an attorney but did stay at a Motel 6. The following is my understanding of where we stand:

1. Sidney Powell currently has a lawsuit on the docket of USSC. While her first one was denied because of no legal standing, this current suit is for a number of GA plaintiffs who should have standing. She is just the attorney of record. There is also a lawsuit against PA, and other States who changed their election procedures against their own Constitutions where it takes a legislature law. Think Bush vs Gore and why Florida lost the decision.

2. The fact that Repub legislatures are sending a different slate of Electors for Jan. 6. is a possibility, but remote chance of success and has its own problems.

3. If all the above fails and just 1 Repub House rep submits a contested claim, and 1 Repub Senate rep submits same claim, the it goes to Congress. Congress will have no power as in voting. ,p>It will all depend on the 1 vote for each 50 states. If Trump can persuade certain states for their majority Repub legislatures to change their Electors, Trump will only need 26 State votes to win. If not - game over.

Could be wrong about the processes above. It has many processes and is confusing even to me. As for Trump declaring insurrection, I don't see it happening, and definitely not Martial Law.

BREAKING: Trump campaign files a petition for writ of certiorari to the US. Supreme Court to reverse a trio of Pennsylvania Supreme Court cases which illegally changed Pennsylvania’s mail balloting law immediately before and after the 2020 presidential election.

Roberts: Denied.

Trolls come in lots of variants. Some lurk around at FR for years, taking every opportunity to try and spread defeat and anger among conservatives. So, here's Drew68's sign ... it is the sign for too many infecting this conservative site:

Is that your expectation of the response, or is that an official response to petition?

If official response, can you please supply a link as I haven’t found any as of yet. Thanks.

I believe it also means that even after the inauguration of Biden (God forbid) if a special counsel makes the case of fraud, President Trump is back in.

Nope, once Biden is inaugurated, he can be removed only by impeachment.

Agreed, and I do not understand the vitriol directed at you or other FReepers who disagree with some “if wishes were horses” magical thinking who deny the handwriting on the wall.

I think there’s one more step in the process. If there’s an objection by 1 rep and 1 senator, the congress goes into a 2 hour session to deliberate on what to do next. The House would decide to accept the result and carry on. The Senate could decide to contest the result but of course Republican senate discipline would need to hold. Only at that point would it go to the House for a vote with each state having one vote.

Why should he?

Expose the fraud machine now. 83 million people did not vote for dementia joe.

The man didn’t even campaign and when he did he had 10 circles for his most ardent supporters to stand in
