Each of which, in order, absolutely infuriated the CIA, the Military Industrial Congressional Complex (including the Joint Chiefs of Staff), and the designated successor to the presidency on JFK’s death. Castro was no more behind JFK’s assassination than The Little Mermaid. When initially informed of the assassination Castro was being interviewed by French journalist Jean Daniel who reported Fidel’s spontaneous reaction that JFK’s death was bad news for Cuba.
When Castro later learned that Lee Oswald had been arrested for the assassination and that Oswald was active in Fair Play for Cuba politics Castro predicted the US would blame Cuba for the death of President Kennedy.

He is a very smart guy.
I think Patrick Byrne’s issues all come to the same kernel. He knew Marina Butina is a Russian spy, but he convinced himself that she is sleeping with all these other influential men because of her spy work and sleeping with him because he is so awesome.
After settling on that ridiculously arrogant axiom he put his big brain to work and figured out a theory to support it.
