I don’t see anybody arresting the Pope. He has diplomatic / sovereign immunity.

Which becomes moot when unlawfully engaging in a war.

It’s not like the Catholics haven’t assassinated or otherwise gotten rid of their problem popes before themselves throughout history. If they see it as in their best interest to cut their losses and get rid of this one, they will.
Now, to what degree the pope will be shown to the world as having been involved in the deep state’s machinations, that remains to be seen.
To what degree the new pope is involved himself, that also remains to be seen.
To what degree Catholics are suspicious of the new pope and stick with the church if he seems derpy, who knows.
I would guess it depends on what Vigano would have to say about the new pope and how many Catholics by then have read and thought much about what Vigano has said in the past.
