The breakdown of some troll events just don't fit nicely into the categories you mentioned. The problem that has happened in some instances is that some loyal fellow FreeQs don't see it when they are being played like a fiddle.

Emotional attachments, how someone feels about a person can confuse us. That is especially true when that individual begs for others to feel sorry for them.

It's like the person who takes in a lonely puppy, or the person who takes in a messed up individual with the hope that they will be able to change that person.

It doesn't work. Reality doesn't give us those options in life, unless you're willing to take the consequences and pay the price. Sometimes the truth needs to be pointed out; a tough love type approach. That may mean one continues to post to fully expose the troll. I am a big boy and will listen to others who had wished I had just quit posting. I didn't see that as a viable option at that time.
