Pentagon plans to cut most of its support to CIA's counterterrorism missions

In a surprising move, the Pentagon has told the Central Intelligence Agency that it plans to end the majority of the military support it provides to the agency's counterterrorism missions by Jan. 5, according to a former senior administration intelligence official.

It is unclear how the decision would impact the spy agency's worldwide counterterrorism missions that often rely on the U.S. military for logistical support and personnel.

Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller sent a letter to CIA Director Gina Haspel outlining the decision, according to the former official, who characterized the action as both surprising and unprecedented.

If one were to go thru the parking lot of the CIA they would find that the agency isn’t populated with patriotic, barrel chested freedom fighters that love this country and everything it stands for.

While the folks that make up Special Activities might be all about the USA,
the place is more like the state dept than a throat cutting intel agency, protecting the United States.

I’m going to ask a silly question but I need to ask it anyway. Is the Pentagon compromised? Do we also have Chinese spies forking over money to top officials Compromising our military for big 💵 for our latest technology and top-secret stuff? Just asking because the way they treated Trump I would not doubt it one iota! I sometimes feel like America is not America anymore ...I feel like I’m living in a different country totally different from what I grew up in. A proud, generous , decent, honest, fair United States ...I feels like it is gone never to return. We have crossed the line in the sand and there’s no going back. I can never see ourselves winning another election or continuing as a free nation. The rats and rinos saw to that with selling us down the river to china ...all because of greed!! They walked into DC with a few dollars in their pocket and they walk out after many many many years serving in both chambers as multi millionaires and some billionaires. Sad ain’t it!

Not too sure which agency is more horse crap, the FBI or the CIA but I care not to have anything to do with either corrupt outfit.
And I resent my ta dollars paying for their crap.

For intelligence we have: military intel of all six branches (don’t forget Coast Guard and Space Force), CIA, DIA, intel assets of the Department of Energy (yes they exist wtf), Office of Naval Intelligence, Office of Geospatial Intelligence, National Reconnaissance Office...makes no sense.

While we’re at it, flatten federal law enforcement too. No more ATF, DEA, and Secret Service is purely tasked as VIP protection instead of counterfeiting and computer hacking (yes they investigate this). Roll the rest up into the FBI, and while you’re at it, fire all the crooks at the top.
