TN has voter ID as well. You have 2 choices:

1
You must submit a written request containing the information below to your local county election commission office by the seventh day before Election Day. You can use the absentee ballot request form to make sure all required information is provided.

You can submit your written request for an absentee ballot by mail, fax, or e-mail. If e-mailing your request, be sure the attached document contains the information below and your scanned signature.

Name of the registered voter
Address of the voter’s residence
Voter’s social security number
Voter’s date of birth
Address to mail the ballot
The election in which the voter wishes to participate. If the election involves a primary, the political party in which the voter wishes to participate.**my note-we don’t declare a party when we register to vote**
Reason the voter wishes to vote absentee. If applicable, a copy of the CDL containing the CDL number or the TWIC card must be included in the voter’s request.
Voter’s signature
A request that contains this information will be processed and a ballot will be mailed to the voter

2
Go to the designated polling location during early voting, or report to your designated polling location on Election Day.

First time I heard of a state doing all their voting by mail-in ballot, I was like ‘huh? How do you prevent fraud??’

We were the first to have Voter I’d lied by the SCOTUS
We always have had option to request absentee ballot. They must be in by noon on Election Day and are counted that afternoon
We also have an early voting where those who work the polls or others can choose to vote at two locations in county. Numbers were high this year. Again the ballots are place in same style envelopes as absentee and are counted on Election Day. Kept under lock and key.
The number of ballots must equal the number on envelopes (signed and witnessed by both parties. )
Election Day
The number of ballots in machine must equal the number of people who signed the voter poll book on Election Day. Books are marked if person has requested a mail in or if they have voted early. All
Totals must equal total signature-envelopes.

We are very precise and
t’s always in the presence of both parties.
