I hope that’s all it is!
I have never seen any blood at anytime!
I hope that is a good omen!

I’m sorry you’re having a scope out. The prep is the worst. You’ll sleep through the rest. More than likely it is a simple reason as I suggested. But, the peace of mind, imo, makes it worthwhile.

I had my first colonoscopy 10 years ago when I was 71. I swore I would NEVER have another one. I was given Versed (Versed (midazolam) is a benzodiazepine, a type of drug that causes relaxation, sleepiness, and partial or complete loss of memory during use. It’s commonly used to help you better tolerate a medical procedure.) and FENTANYL. Still I could feel every inch of that tube going up me and I was moaning and groaning because it hurt. I heard the doctor tell the anesthesiologist to give me some more and she said she couldn’t as she was at the top range already.

My Primary care doctor keeps telling me it is time to get another one, but I just don’t think I can bring myself to do it. I seem to have a COMPLETELY different reaction to medications than other people do. If I am given a sleeping pill I am WIDE AWAKE.

Good Luck Ms B
