They used to have a terrible time getting blood out of me. I always thought fasting before blood work meant don’t consume anything even meant water. I was finally told water is OK so I started drinking a couple of glasses before going and I also tell them to use the smallest needle as possible. I haven’t had any problems since.
Drinking water plumps up the veins before getting blood work.
I will remember that. I must have been dehydrated.
