Well, this is pretty clear, backed up with declassified information.

When Pulitzer put out yesterday that the ballots were being shredded, I was like WTHeck??? I thought they had to be kept for 2 years so why would they shred them and violate a law for sure! But it might be another state that has to keep them for 2 years.
