That is so sad. Poor lady, and poor daughter.
I guess that’s how I operated until I got these new glasses. I got some readers from Amazon but they were clear on the top. Like a bifocal but no power at the top. But I couldn’t see my computer so I had another pair sitting there that I would switch with.
BUT my eyes are so inflexible that if I had the 1.25 readers on all I could see was the computer, nothing else. Nothing further and nothing closer up. I’ve always liked stronger reading powers than my age suggest, so I think it might have something to do with the high myopia.
That’s why I need progressives. But it’s funny that I don’t remember it being difficult to get used to them. I guess since I’ve always had poor vision anything that helps is good. My husband can’t stand them either. He does what you do, bifocals and then he has computer glasses where he can see the computer and read.
Oops that’s the earlier article. Will try to go back and copy latest with change of dates. My phone copied the wrong link. OR
Did you get a prescription lens or the old fashioned kind?
The progressives are prescription. The bifocal with clear on the top and readers on the bottom were over the counter, from Amazon. I wouldn’t have survived the two to three months after cataract surgery without those!

I have prescription lens. The medium vision is impossible to correct. Right now leaning into the computer, I have 20/20 vision. If I sit back a little, I can still read what is on the screen, but it is less focused.
IMO, it is a flaw in the design of the lens. I also see halos around round objects at night.
Tell me if you come up with a solution for the medium vision.
“Fingers crossed!”
Well now we know why your fingerprints aren’t turning out!
Very sad....
Congressman-elect Luke Letlow, 41, dies with coronavirus
Congressman-elect Luke Letlow died Tuesday evening from complications with COVID-19, shaking the Louisiana political world weeks after his election to represent Louisiana’s 5th District in Congress as the state’s youngest U.S. representative.
Letlow, 41, died at Ochsner-LSU Health Shreveport from “complications from COVID-19,” his spokesman, Andrew Bautsch, said in a statement.
Letlow was admitted to a Monroe hospital with COVID-19 symptoms on Dec. 19th before being transferred to the Shreveport hospital and being transferred to the ICU. Letlow is survived by his wife, Julie Barnhill Letlow, and two young children, Bautsch said.
He was in critical condition but had recently shown signs of improvement when he “apparently suffered a cardiac event this evening that was refractory to all resuscitation efforts,” said Dr. G.E. Ghali, of LSU Health Shreveport.

Thanks for that.
I do not think that is what I read though.
I read where it said the SC is going to take it up on Jan.,6th.
From FREEQ site...
BREAKING: U.S. Congressman-elect Luke Letlow (R-LA) has died of COVID-19. He was 41 years old
Suspicious how only REPUBLICANS contract COVID-19.
“Suspicious how only REPUBLICANS contract COVID-19.”
Democrats inoculated against COVID and facing justice for their crimes.
Sure is.
That IS very sad. I wonder why people aren’t automatically receiving Regeneron. Poor guy, and his poor family.
Congressman-elect LUKE LETLOW and family.
RIP
Now I'll just hope and pray I don't have to Go To Town next month.
Don't want to but I'll do it if I must for my country and my family's sake.
Exactly!
I thought Regeneron was supposed to be made available to all (hospital setting patients).
