I think Hannity has remained loyal to the president. I don’t think he’s towed the Fox party line. I’m surprised that his loss of audience was this large. Not sure why, IMHO - multiple reasons for the plunging ratings across the board.
- In the "Before" viewer loyalty helped the ratings of the entire FOX lineup - the marginal shows benefited just by being in the same lineup as the best shows.
Now the rush to the left by FOX management hurts all the shows, dragging the few good shows down along with the not-so-good. - Many have just said "We're totally done with FOX" and just don't turn it on at all anymore.
- Many of us used to leave FOX on all the time and that helped the ratings of all the shows even when we weren't actively watching.
Now that we no longer have FOX on all the time that has a negative impact on all the shows. - Viewers who would still watch a few shows like Tucker or Hannity often forget to switch channels to FOX when they air,
are already watching a different show or movie, or are involved in a different activity at the time.
