Well, it’s been an interesting couple of days!
I hit a pothole (that was covered with water) and
snapped a strut on the front left passengers side of my car,
and somehow pushed the tire up against the fender well.
Out of nowhere came this sweet lady who directed traffic, and called a friend of hers who came and tugged it off of the busy street it happened on.
In the mean time, Mr B called a tow truck to come and take the car but could not leave his work to come and get me.
This lady, Erica is her name, took me safely to work!
Please, during your evening prayers, would you please include her?
She truly was my guardian angel!

The fact that the FBO had Hunter's laptop BEFORE the disgusting impeachment of President Trump is one of the most egregious obstructions of justice that has ever occurred. President Trump could have given even more attention to the important business of running the country, including the COVID crisis, if he hadn'h been required to deal with the evil impeachment.
I see that I must have typed a Freudian slip with FBO (Federal Bureau of Obstruction) instead of the correct FBI. oh well...
Make SURE you file a claim against whoever is responsible for maintaining that road (city, county, state)! They should pay you back for the wrecker bill and repairs. I worked for a state DOT and we had to do that all the time with pothole claims on the interstate and state highways.
And try to get a picture of the hole ASAP. If you have damage, likely others do too and they might fix it quickly and then deny everything.
I saw that. I wonder if he’d consider a class action suit!

Had she been a liberal who loved Biden, you would have been posting to us in a rage about how you hit the pothole and some ne’er-do-well took advantage of your situation and stole your purse.

We are living it already. I tried reading it when we talked about a book club but just couldn't get through it. Recently, however, I got the e-audiobook from my library. The reader did such an outstanding job that I sailed through it.
It was published in 1959, exactly 35 years from 1984 so it took almost twice that to come to fruition. We definitely have the four Ministries, especially the Ministry of Truth (actually lies).
