Sometimes a amicus brief is more effective. It allows the filer to state their support and give independent reasons for doing so. As a “friend of the court” much supportive evidence can be given. I suspect that is what each state supporting Texas will do. It confirms that Texas has a well written document with the right premise.

That happens to be where my BIL and his wife who has tested positive just came back from visiting. So tell be its safer to stay home? They flew to be with their daughter and family through the Thanksgiving holiday. Daughter and family live in Washington state.
