Rin, who hails from Tokyo, was never allowed to grow her hair as a child. She was on the girl’s football team so had to keep it short, but when she became an adult, she decided to take control of her hair and use it as a “weapon of expression”. The last time she cut her hair was 15 years ago, and now her straight, black locks measure 5ft 10in, a good 4 inches more than Rin herself. Although her hair sometimes gets in the way when doing the simplest of tasks, like changing her clothes, the Japanese dancer and model said that she loves her long mane, adding that it encapsulates the “beauty of Asia”.
The 35-year-old says that she constantly gets asked if her hair is real, and that people’s reactions to it are mixed. Some are really impressed by it, while some consider it too much. Even though she has been the target of hateful comments on social media because of her unusual look, Rin says she has learned to accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

“...She also had enormous boobs....”
Yeah, I had an old girlfriend like that too; they were so big, they had their own area code.
And they were Spectacular...
I’d braid her hair for an hour or two
” her straight, black locks “
Sure looks brown to me which means it is dyed which most Japanese do these days . Once girls graduate from high school the first thing they do is change their hair color from black to whatever . I dig the natural black myself .
I have 3 daughters.
I can only imagine what her bathroom sink drain looks like.
+. Two daughters here and it was a constant pain.
Hahaha, very good point. Oy
Kind of a corollary to “No Capes!”
Did she cut it?
it seems like in the United States we have a lot of gay hairdressers who are always trying to convince women to have their hair short.
Unlike PA's health commissioner, Itt has an extremely high IQ of over 300, guessed every Rorschach Test correctly, and placed all of the pegs in the correct slots.
As for long hair, in the world of rock I thought The Outlaws took the prize.
Have always loved long hair. Some can’t for lots of reasons. Some choose not to.
I’m happy that My Better Half chooses to wears hers long.
When she flashes her sparkling green eyes and that wicked smile, I am reminded how I definitely scored WAY above my position.
RE Outlaws:
THAT is some magnificent hair... and some serious guitar players. Gonna put on “Green Grass and HIgh Tides” now.
RE Cousin Itt:
True that... and cousin Itt never wore a dress and pretended to be anything OTHER than Cousin Itt...
The Cowsills
Why is she in a courtyard in Vienna?
It'll still be playing on Monday. Whenever that epic comes on the radio, one of the little DoodleBobs says "this song takes three days to play." Magnificent song, band, AND hair.
Grew up with blonde blue or green eyed girls. Went to Asia and fell in love with dark hair and dark eyes. Prior to going overseas, I was in AZ and CA and there were a lot of bleached blondes. Natural long black hair just looked so beautiful. That became a preference for me. I did date a girl with long straight natural blonde hair in in the 70s. She had her hair cut in some 80s style and never looked the same. The lady in the article is correct, some men do like long straight natural hair.

I had four daughters. I know what her bathroom drain looks like. The Japanese version of Mr. Rotorooter is busy.
I haven’t had a haircut in a year. It’s only four inches past my shoulders and I’m about ready to shave my head.
I would think all that hair would be heavy and strain the roots.
