Netanyahu’s entire personal and political life has been defined by the Holocaust. He is a student of history and has pondered the events leading to the Holocaust. It is an undeniable fact that in the mid 1920’s when Hitler and his criminal thugs were becoming a significant political force , the German Jewish community had the power and means to deal with Hitler in a definitive manner. If they had acted this existential threat would have been ended in its earliest stages.. Sadly for the world they did not. Netanyahu views himself not only as the Prime Minister of Israel but as the secular leader and protector of the Jewish people. He knows that if he leaves office with the Iranian nuclear threat essentially intact, he will join those long dead German Jewish leaders and will be judged by history as a failure.

Curious, why do you say that? All out war is like...really really bad and lots of muzzie countries would just love an excuse to attack Israel.
If the Israelis can pick off scientist, sabotage computer systems, targeted bombings of nuke infrastructure without all out war...wouldn’t you think that would be a smarter course of action?
