That's what I am doing, my problem is the crappy internet service I have through Century Link DSL. The buffeting is insufferable at times. I have bitched and tried everything to speed it up with no success. I guess is just the best they can do, reminds me of the days of AOL.
Can't wait for StarLink.
And One Day At A Time... wife is happy.
Free Market works... do you have other providers?
I love Pluto. I do have one thing i cannot solve. We do not like to use Closed Caption. We have it turned off on all our TVs.However Newsmax has CC on and I cannot find a way to turn it off. No other channels on Pluto have CC on. Any help will be appreciated.
I watch Pluto (free) via my $30 Roku. One-time purchase price; no other cost. There is a search function on Roku that seems to find things across many different apps, including Pluto.
Yep same here. A lot cheaper than satellite that’s for sure
Newsmax is live, OAN is 24 hour delay.
😀
There are a lot of other completely free streaming services you can also get on the Roku - coupled with an over the air antenna, there is zero need to pay monthly fees for television.
Right - you just settle into a new routine and you wonder why you were paying for cable or satellite to begin with.
I chrome cast Pluto to my tv
“Buy a Roku device and connect it permanently to your TV. You can then use it to stream these services free of charge.”
The same with Apple TV. Pluto has a free app that can be used for streaming.
It’s pretty kool. It was a app on my tv that was there but not installed. I never thought you could get some true free tv. Been paying for Directv for years just for the Sunday ticket, which isn’t worth it this year. Tried streaming some games but was choppy. Thinking of cutting the cable.
Folks all confused about my setup. They just want Roku but I have no live tv service on Roku. All they have is Netflix, Prime, Disney Plus, and all the free apps like Tubi TV and Pluto TV. I can’t make them understand 64.99 for YouTube TV is a joke. So I bought Firestick and got a $15 IPTV service and other free apps that were advertised on YouTube. Wayback in 2005 tried XMBC/Kodi have npt returned. Nota big fan of Kodi but many of the people who I see doing Fire TV videos still use it. The stick is too low in space so I would have to figure out how to add more space.
Pluto is free.I t has adverts
It is owned by CBS.
My IPTV service carries OANN, Newsmax TV, RT America, Infowars and I bought The Blaze TV but the liner version is on Pluto. Also has the three weather networks in America.
I get too much to mention. No Dvr so I got a cloner box pro to record.
If all you guys got a cloner Box pro you can record Pluto TV.
I watched the Olympic Channel on Century Link DSL and it was very intermittent. Tried watching the World Skating Championship for Russia. It was chopped up with freezes and glitches that knocked us right off the channel. To continue watching you had to reload the channel if you can find it again.
What’s your nominal speed? I have an ATT DSL line and it typically runs at 18 to 20mbps which is 99% efffective for streaming video channels. About half the price of the two cable alternatives in my area.
