I didn’t check the speed of my friend’s service. At home I have Comcast’s service at 156 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. I think that should be enough for any video streaming services.

Get a Roku box. Then you can get it on your TV.

Actually I can get it on tv through my chromecast. My problem is that the sound isn’t very good. The sound comes through good on everything but not through the free tv apps.

For sound and picture quality i use Chronecast to put on my flat screens. ROKU can do same. I assume Firestick and AppleTv will do same. Chromecast is cheap at $39.

Newsmax and FirstTv have apps you can use to watch. Chronecast can put those on your TV as well.

I know they can put it on my tv. My problem is that the sound quality with chromecast is bad on internet tv, but is good on everything else.

Pluto also has America’s Voice with Steve Bannons War Room.

Not sure about on a TV, but on my phone there is a little icon on the upper right that you have to double touch/click (it is “off” by default, but does CC anyway).

I have to do that every time I change channels and then back, or turn on PlutoTV and change to NewsMax.

Yes...I’ve tried that...specifically for Andromeda on Pluto. It finds it but in the on demand section...which works. But...why do they advertise it as being on channel 661, if you can’t get to the bloody channel 661 in the first place and have to go to the on demand section? Not a nuisance but...annoying.

It’s a mystery to me. I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m happy if I can get the Pluto screen with OAN, Newsmax, America’s Voice; and then on Roku reruns of Cold Case and Without a Trace. Other than that, it’s a mystery for right now.

It’s a fairly new service so I’m sure when the popularity grows they’ll update their code and provide enhancements like a search function. For now, they’re providing content for people who like to just sit and cruise through channels with a remote.

“they’re providing content for people who like to just sit and cruise through channels with a remote.”

I am NOT one of those people! I hate the “listings” as large colorful icons. I want an actual LIST. NO pictures. There isn’t even an option for a list. Annoying.

Indeed. Annoying. Good things come to those who wait.
