And Glendening went on to steal the Browns. What a jerk.

I’m thinking maybe the trump team doesn’t want to prove the Dominion side of things until they are back in office.

Trying to preserve as much of the vote as possible.

I am afraid you may be correct. If I remember correctly ( a big if these days) a MI or PA court ruled some ballots were illegal and could not be counted, but they had already been segregated and not accounted according to the State. It did not however address ballots received the day after the election at 4 am. That was not what was before them.

I also believe a ruling of fraud would go a long way to stop ballot harvesting in the future, but may not help Trump. I could see SCOTUS tossing the 600,000 ballots challenged in PA, but ruling that while fraud did occur in WI, MI and NV it would not change the certification. I do not know the legal ins and outs but just look how Roberts twisted the law to rule on Obamacare.

Then there’s the Rossi-Gregoire race in Washington in 2004 and of course, famously, Coleman-Franken.

You aren’t pessimistic - you are realistic. I imagine SCOTUS could just punt on the whole thing and say - sorry, the states have made their decisions.

Many things need to align for Trump to win this. Simply having obvious proof of fraud is hardly enough.

We live in an increasingly corrupt country. Not as corrupt as most, but corrupt nonetheless.

I hope this doesn’t seem like I want to “dog you out” (does that mean pile on?)

I literally don’t understand the purpose of the many negative posts today.

WHen football teams are fighting in the superbowl, it’s about pushing down field. Saying “I don’t think Trump will be able to set the record straight on the election” does show that we are firmly behind the president and will back him through thick and thin.

Saying,”I am afraid Biden will be our next president, encouarges the left to drag this farce out longer because they think we might just give up and withdraw our support from the president’s pursuit. What we say to one another on thread is part of the information war and right now we’re pushing for one side or another whether we mean to or not.

I understand heaviness of heart when you’re feeling down, but in the middle of a war it helps to keep true feelings like that off the battlefield. We need to be able to talk and vent - but FReepmail would keep those feelings from encouraging our enemies.

We need to support the President’s fight for us to have fair elections or we won’t ever have another.

I remember a friend saying, “Feelings don’t have morals. They aren’t wrong or right - they just exist and are yours.” So it’s not that those who feel bad at this point have willed themselves to feel the way they do.

But such feelings are a weapon used to try to erode support for President Trump just as we need to be showing that we will never stop supporting him, just as he has never supported us.

In place of feelings, decisions, encouragement, analysis, sharing info with one another are posts that boost the search for justice.

President Trump won and he will not concede. Let’s show him we stand with him and confer with friends in email or offline about more private feelings and concerns.

SOmeone posted suggestions for supporting the fight to stop the steal.

https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3908665/posts?page=598#598

There are others posting their ideas to support the information war on FR and around the web.. It may lift your heavy heart to pursue one or more of the ideas floating around. Take heart. TRUMP WON!

...about taking to the streets and taking it to the swamp.

_____________________

This is NOT *just talk*. Go to revolver.news and the videos are there from all of Europe with tens of thousands of people in the street in various countries protesting the economic lockdowns and The Great Reset. Also in the US,along with support rallies for Stop The Steal.

This is a harebrained scheme by a few elites in Europe who have drawn in the elites of the US, Canadian and South Pacific anglophone countries. It is so contrary to human nature to think a small select group can, by virtue of wealth and connections, bring about a new feudalism after centuries of progress and education (the real sort) and liberty, that there is no way it can succeed in the long term.

We will still face the final threats as they try for a world war and a hit to utilities, transport and communications. I don’t see them winning and I do see them bringing about so much misery and death that their names become synonymous with the great dictatorships of history and just as reviled.

My suggestion, don’t think about it and pray. The whining sounds a lot like when Hillary lost. It’s all in God’s hands. The end point will be Jan21st,2021. God is in control, thy will be done.

its a choice to be optimistic or pessimistic....its a choice....

its easy to get down and then get widely optimistic in the same day....

we need to grow up some....life isn't easy, nobody said it would be...

I prefer to be somewhat optimistic.....I temper that with buying extra canned vegetables and more TP....

Golly, glad you could share your feelings with the class.

I don’t give a damn what anyone’s predictions or fears or feelings are. If you’ve got some suggestion to make toward a plan of action, make it. If you’ve got some analysis of current events based on incoming data that will allow people to have a better perspective, then give it.

Otherwise, quit your whining and concern trolling. It serves nothing except to get the hand-wringing contingent of FreeRepublic twisting their mittens off.

There is no precedent for what is happening, and, regardless of the legal outcomes, it is ultimately up to us what we will allow to happen.

Yes, I was living in Wheaton when Glendening won. The Washington ComPost referred to her as Ellen Sauergrapes when she contested the results. The big difference between Glendening and William ScrapeYourDollar Schaefer was that Schaefer actually followed through and got a few things done while he was in office, and didn’t make any friends when he endorsed the likes of Helen Bentley and George H.W. Bush over the Dem establishment candidates. He brooked no shit from his own party. And he sure wasn’t a politically correct snowflake.

I wrote exactly the same thing weeks ago in another post. The democrats are effectively going to “run out the clock”. While everyone agrees there was massive fraud that did switch the winner to biden, everyone, including the supreme court, will hide behind the “there is nothing we can do” legal argument.

OR ... Trump will prove:
a) there is a weakness in the Dominion software which permits fraud
and
b) there are anomalies in the recorded voting counts for Trump and Biden which are consistent with fraud having taken place

SO the affected states declare that the official voting counts are not reliable and so don’t allocate all their Electoral College electors to Biden, but instead give them to Trump or split them between the two.

Under this scenario, you don’t need absolute, “beyond reasonable doubt” proof that fraud occurred, merely “balance of probabilities” standard of proof.

Here’s something to consider…

[11] And that knowing the season; that it is now the hour for us to rise from sleep. For now our salvation is nearer than when we believed. [12] The night is passed, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armour of light. [13] Let us walk honestly, as in the day: not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and impurities, not in contention and envy: [14] But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh in its concupiscences.

It has been suggested that a fight can be waged in 2001 in the House of Representatives.

Were that to happen, it might fail but force the Democrats to accept a consent decree allowing both parties to install all the live online cameras they need to make future ballot skulduggery severely limited.
