Do you understand what year over year means? Of course ratings are down for Fox compared to the week of the election, Just like ESPN's ratings are down after the Superbowl. But Fox's ratings are higher than they were before the election, so that just means the temporary election viewers are gone, but their core audience is even bigger than it was.

You didn't read the article, did you. Newsmax doesn't have show in the 150.

Newsmax's ratings were tiny, so it is easy to grow, Add a few hundred and it is a meaningful increase. They have exploded from nothing, to small. They are 10% the size of Fox.

I'm happy for Newsmax! There are like 100 liberal networks, why not two right of center, the more the merrier.

Now that his largely invisible network has suddenly been flooded by fans of President Donald Trump, Newsmax television personality Grant Stinchfield is puffing out his chest.

“They don’t know what to do with all of us,” Stinchfield said on the air Monday night. “We’re killing it here on Newsmax with a tactic they’ve never tried. It’s called the truth, the stone-cold truth, and once you get a taste of it, you will never tolerate being lied to again.”

This is a snap shot of what is going on with Newsmax and OAN. The point is that people are leaving FOX by the hundred of thousands and aren’t going to go back. Give Newsmax and OAN some time and they will grow into a much larger portion of the viewing share.

Do you understand what year over year means? It is when you take this week’s data, and compare to the same week in the previous year. So Fox has grown from last year. Ratings spike during election week, for obvious reasons. Then they go back to normal, or better than normal in this case. Long story short, there is nothing to see here.
