I started collecting Judge Dredd in 80s. It had some of the most enjoyable storylines bar none. Then came the Stallone version of Judge Dredd. It was excrement in total. A vanity project more akin to the tv Batman and Robin. Then came the Karl Urban Dredd. It was authentic and as amazing as the comics. I saw Star Wars back in 77 in a theater while in the military. I dropped them after the idiocy of Jar Jar way before it was tainted by social justice.

Go Woke, Go Broke! It seems to me that this might be a good opportunity for the emergency of a new, non-politically-correct comic book company. It might go a long way towards breaking the liberal indoctrination of public schools.
I guess it would have to have online products as well, but that should be doable.

From DC? A couple of “Batman” and some “World’s Finest”. Most is Dell, with a smattering of ACG. Most of the stuff I’ve got it Silver Age. Got some that predate Golden, too, but we won’t talk about those (”Detective Picture Stories”? Man, dad was eclectic).

I had not been familiar with "Detective Picture Stories" or Centaur publishing. I read up a bit, and that is a SERIOUS find.
I had a few poor condition Batman and Fawcett comics (Captain Marvel Jr., Whiz, America's Greatest). Divested everything out of necessity. My collection had been too well loved to be worth much. Early Silver Age (Showcase, JLA) might do okay, though Marvel has appreciated much more. DC lost its way long ago. Of course, a lot of old friends are long gone: Dell, Charlton, Gold Key, Harvey. Outside of the niche fanboy players, I can only think of DC, Marvel, MLJ/Archie.

DC movies take too long to make, are too dark, and usually suck.
Marvel could crank out 3 a year. Most sucked but they were huge money makers.
Still no Flash movie? Just talk and posters of Flash Universe crop, one with The Rock even. How many average movie watchers even remember the stupid Flash Universe?
Batman is all they have. Most all of their Superman movies sucked hard.
Remember The Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds? Total crap.

I'm not a collector. I'm more the Scrooge McDuck kinda guy: every comic I have has value to me. Some of them my grandmother learned to read from, some of them I learned to read with, some of them were given to me by my dad when he was away from home on business... you get the idea.
I got out of comics around 1990. Last things I got were call the Don Rosa and Carl Barks Ducks I could get ahold of and every issue of "Heavy Metal" up to 1/1990. Marvel had already begun to lose me (the "Inferno" cross-over was the last I read) and DC was hanging on just on the power of the revamped Batman line for me. The Silver Age was my age, really. I mean, come on! EGG FU (Wonder Woman #157, '65, if I recall)! How do you top that? With crossovers?! And I still read those more than anything else.

Um, Disney owns marvel now. You think they’re going to kill off a cash cow when their parks are essentially closed?
