I’d like to have a mask emblazoned with “MASKS DON’T WORK”. Because they don’t. That’s why it’s stupid.

Initially, they had the entry way blocked so that you had to go past a person outside who would tell you they required a mask, along with big signs posted on the entry way. They also had those markers for going one way in the aisles.
I had read a copy of the Walmart instructions to their employees, posted here which said that if a customer refused to let them go without further harassment. So hubby just asked do I have to? They said we can't and won't try to make you. So he said I'd rather not, and went on in.
We also started going more often to the local harps and Dollar Store which didn't require it anyway. I always made a point of asking them to tell their management that we were there because of their policy instead of Walmart.
Now, there is no mask nazi out doors, and no blocked entry, and no one way arrows. We are a rural community, word gets around, and our state and local task force did not issue any required mask orders. Plus we never had that many cases anyway.
Our state-wide mandates were lifted right about the time we actually started to have cases-showing that one size doesn't fit all anyway.
The mask thing is just stupid and potentially harmful so I agree with what you said. I'm thinking about printing this to give to anyone requiring masks:
