Secret watermark Vanity (Yes, they exist)
duck go search ^

Posted on 11/09/2020 1:44:12 PM PST by American in Israel

For those interested in how you can tell what w hat printers print which ballot, here is a link:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=printer+yellow+dot+8d&t=fpas&ia=about

Note this is old technology. This is required by Homeland Security on all printers. Nowadays on newer than 2004 the serial number may be imprinted in a different manner that is confidential.

The short story is that every printer embeds its serial number on every sheet it prints so if extra ballots were printed on a different printer than the original you not only could tell it was a duplicate. You could prove what type printer and which one.

There actually is a “secret watermark” on every American printer.

I am not sure about all printers, though I will take your word for it. I am pretty sure all govt printers would have some type of serialized mark. Additionally, they almost always keep track of the number of copies, so an audit shouldnt be difficult.

Sorry for the vanity but there is a lot of confusion on this.

And you've just added to it. You do realize that ballots are printed by printing companies using offset printing presses, not laser copiers?

If this is true, why aren’t they being checked? That is the FIRST thing that should have been checked. You don’t hear the Trump camp pushing it, though. This is a Q fantasy, nothing more.

This is true way beyond the scope that most people imagine. Every printer, including commercial and home use, be it laser or inkjet marks every page with its serial number. This is not restricted to large commercial presses. If you print something it can be traced. It is especially true for commercial presses.

There is some truth to this - secret watermarks are imbedded in most printed paper. This is done separately from any requirement for ballot watermarking, which may or may not exist, depending on jurisdiction.

This secret “serial number” is how they caught the girl from Georgia who was leaking info to the press. She posted printouts of some of the information she had, which allowed them to track down the printer to her office.

But where are the fake ones printed? If what both of you say is true, then ANY ballot with a printer ID mark on it would be fake, yes?

Have you ever voted?

Have you ever noticed that there is a serial number printed on your ballot?

Have you ever noticed that when you are handed a ballot at a polling place, a poll worker carefully records that number?

Ballots are like money, and they are tracked. Poll worker have to account for every ballot, whether it was cast, or if it was unused.

Voter fraud requires the use of valid ballots cast by someone other than a registered voter.

You just don’t run off a bunch of ballots on a Xerox machine and stick them in the tabulation counter.

Yeah: visa expired.

Americans don't need Visas to reside in America.

I figure you got kicked out for your many crimes.

Why did you choose to be such a criminal?

This is true on color printers. I don't know if it is also on black and white ones.

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

I voted in advance.

My ballot was printed on the spot.

For mass mailings of ballots, commercial printing might be used.
