Susan Collins is congratulating Biden??

I would offer my congratulations to President-elect Biden on his apparent victory..the President-elect and the Vice-President-elect should be given every opportunity to ensure that they are ready to govern on January 20th.

I understand that the President and others have questions about the results in certain states. There is a process in place to challenge those results and, consistent with that process, the President should be afforded the opportunity to do so.

I know that many are eager to have certainty right now. While we have a clear direction, we should continue to respect that process. I urge people to be patient. The process has not failed our country in more than 200 yrs, & it is not going to fail our country this year.

Can I get my money back?

1) She did qualify her remarks with "apparent victory." Slimy, but cordial.

2) No, you cannot get your money back until we secure the Senate. If we lose both Georgia races, then she can do a "Jumpin' Jim Jeffords" and change parties. But right now we need her more than she needs us.

We need minimum of 53 seats so that we don’t have to rely on Murkowski and Collins.

Exactly as I predicted ... here's the growing list of RINOs already defecting (so far):

Similar weak-minded RINOs will continue defecting and eventually conservative Republicans will start defecting, too, as time moves on ... unless Trump's legal challenges begin generating substantial and potentially election-impacting outcomes. If that happens (which depends on legal rulings), real conservative Republican politicians will start coming out strongly in Trump's defense, and then eventually RINOs will stop defecting ...

Susan Collins and Janet Mills are prime examples as to how unorganized the conservative movement is in Maine. After the 2010 election we had a conservative governor and republican legislature. And here we are today, with the democrats/moderates dominating the state.
We’ve had horrible vision and leadership from Higgins Street, the gop headquarters. We’ve had folks on our county and town committees that talk a good game, but that’s it. In order to have a chance to take back the state, we’ve got to organize, knock on doors day after day and educate Mainers as to the true nature of establishment politics. Social Media doesn’t move the needle. Making a personal connection wit the voter is what’s important. The left never stops and we can’t, we have to be relentless when it comes to taking our message directly to the voter.

Susan should thank Biden and the Democratic party—for only filling out the Presidential portion of the fake ballots in Maine—otherwise she would have been _toast_.

The proof:

Biden won the total Maine vote by 9.1% in 2020.

Hillary won the total Maine vote by 3.0% in 2016.

No way there were that high a percentage of ticket-splitters.

Zero chance.

54. Mittens will not pass up an opportunity to stab us all in the back and be "bipartisan" in a crucial vote.

Earlier this year when I visited Maine, my first stop was in Moosehead lake, then Bangor, Bar Harbor and Portland.

It was absolutely sickening how much things were changing during my drive from Moosehead lake as I was getting closer to Bar Harbor.

I knew that the coastal Maine was liberal, but didn’t realize it was that liberal.

LePage wants to run for Governor again. Winnable. Not the senate. Lefties need an adult in charge(executive) but not one to be one of a hundred. Collins is ok for that state. Consider the alternative. Buckley rule.

Great post! RINOs are already defecting. Sure, there's a little whining on the part of some Marxist BLM/Antifa activists that Harris/biden better give them what they want, but basically, the entire Democrat Party is still 100% unified and in total lock-step with what the fake-news MSM claims is "President-Elect Biden."

Republicans around the country are all over the map (in terms of their views regarding what President Trump should do). Many Republican politicians are trying to calculate their political futures: Should I congratulate a "President-Elect Biden," or say I support Biden but qualify that by saying it's highly unlikely Trump's legal challenges will find anything, or should I say I look forward to working with Biden but let's give the process "time to play out," etc. All over the map, while Democrats 100% unified and "relentless," as you say.

Yeah, in the near 30 years I’ve been in Maine, it’s become progressively worse. We had a shot in 2010 to change things, but our wave election victory was not followed with adequate leadership, or organization. Now we’re in a tough spot because democrat and greens greatly outnumber republicans.

Yeah, we really need Republican Senators who’ll be cordial to Bidet just like the Dem Senators were “cordial” to Trump. SMH.
