Just setting up parler.
We need a place when this site goes down. We have a Facebook page for that but do you really want zuckerberg to control that information flow?
I say screw parler - I’ve tried it and it’s way too troublesome

I just joined Parler yesterday.
It’s just a matter of getting acclimated to the process they use.
I took on one of F88kbook’s Fart Checkers today and by the time I got done with the moron, I figured what the heck. This sh*thole is played out. Permanent deletion. My son and daughter (both currently in F**kbook Jail) sent me to Parler.com. Signed up there
On occasion this site has gone down due to DNS issues. Feel lost when that happens.
I only use the Marketplace on Suckbook. The rest is a waste of time. How many ‘I ate this for breakfast’ can a man stand

I barely trust being HERE - I don’t really trust *anything* online.
But I’ve provisionally trusted this site - and a lot of the people here - for a long time; I trusted the sincerity of the people here even 15 years before I signed up, when I was just reading it.
The issue doesn’t really mean that much to me - I probably won’t be here much longer - but people should be careful of what they do. We’ve already seen how software has screwed an election which should have been pretty ‘cut-and-dried’.
Just an opinion...

Parler’s good, but the pages load kinda sluggishly. Hopefully they’ll fix this issue.

Finally! Things are smoothing out a bit on Parler. All these new accounts snuck up on us out of nowhere... I mean, we expected a million or so people today... but 2? You guys are crazy.
If you feel ‘lost’ because an internet site goes down, you have some problems.
Buy yourself a copy of the Federalist Papers, or some other good book. You’ll be right as rain, once you learn to concentrate on more than a computer screen-full of text again...

Yeah. No doubt, they’ll more than likely go after everything, but they’ll definitely go after the smaller/super conservative sites like FR first because they can...its’t the communist way.
I may not know everything about these evil SOBs, but I know enough to know that the only good one is a dead one.
