I’ll be drinking beer for the most part but I do have a bottle of Mt. Gay Reserve rum on hand.

In and ready to enjoy the BIG RED WAVE!
Gotta stock up on popcorn
My voting report is boring. I’m in central MA, a town of roughly 9,000 people. We’re in the smaller presinct. Voting was very steady, more than usual. It was interesting.
You give them your name and address. They find you on the computer. Your information is printed out and they ask you to confirm it. After you do so they confirm you in the system and you get your paper ballot.
Once done your ballot is scanned. You cannot leave until it has been scanned. Once successful you’re on your way.
I was impressed. Demand an ID and it’d be perfect.

As you may be aware, FReeper Coop, one of the hard-core election specialists (and political activists), is predicting 355 EV for POTUS. This includes everything we won in 2016 plus MN, NH, NV, CO, VA(!) & NM if I recall.
Ill be spending at least part of my evening watching the heavily FR-driven election channel (LS + Coop, Ravi, Byecomey, SpeedyInTexas and other FReeper guest experts):

Saw this a few days ago. So did the US Marshalls! :)

Hello, FReeQs!
Back from voting. Had a nice nap. Ready to watch the election returns. Hoping I won’t have to stay up until 3 a.m.
Let’s wrap this up, baby!

Not worried about him winning...worried
about them cheating. Absent fraud, it’s
a landslide.
Into the Valley of Death and still under 100! Charge
In for the party, MQM. Let’s wrap this 3 year journey with a win tonight, and then put the bow on later this month with the starting of arrests.
Thanks for herding us cats over all this time. Now let’s wrap it up.

It is pretty doggone big - 4.5 ft X 4 ft tall x 2 ft deep, and no really good places to grab on the back. The back panel is not structural. But once I leveraged it up and got that dolly under it, it was smooth sailing.
I ended up centering the dolly (or close to center) and it turned out that there was just enough clearance so that it would roll without dragging on the carpet.
Anyway - keeping busy while I watch the election returns. Or wait for them.
Know your Nautical terminology
Today I will deal with ship's boats. In general decending order of size, they are:
launch
Traditionally, the largest ship's boat carried by a warship.
longboat
In the Age of Sail, a double-banked open boat carried by a sailing ship, rowed by eight or ten oarsmen, two per thwart, although designed also to be rigged for sailing; more seaworthy than a cutter or dinghy and with a beam greater than that of a gig. Eventually supplanted by the whaleboat.
whaleboat
1. A type of open boat that is relatively narrow and pointed at both ends, enabling it to move either forwards or backwards equally well.
2. On modern warships, a relatively light and seaworthy boat for transport of ship's crew.
cutter
The open cutter carried aboard naval vessels in the 18th century was rowed by pairs of men sitting side-by-side on benches. The cutter, with its transom, was broader in proportion compared to the longboat, which had finer lines.
pinnace
A light boat, propelled by oars or sails, carried aboard merchant and war vessels in the Age of Sail to serve as a tender.
admiral's barge
A boat at the disposal of an admiral for his or her use as transportation between a larger vessel and the shore, or within a harbor.
captain's gig
A boat used on naval ships as the captain's taxi. It is a catch-all phrase for this type of craft and over the years it has gradually increased in size, changed with the advent of new technologies for locomotion, and been crafted from increasingly more durable materials.
dinghy
a type of small boat, often carried or towed by a larger vessel for use as a lifeboat or tender.

Thank you Sir. A fine choice.
Love your tagline. Uncle Jack told me to always have a flask handy just for that purpose. Although snakes have been pretty scarce where I live now, you can’t be too careful.
Oh look! A Democratic committeewoman in north Philly wearing a Biden mask not letting certified Republican poll watchers into a polling place... She ends with "that rule ain't worth being followed" when someone says they should be allowed inside. pic.twitter.com/7646fTi2in— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) November 3, 2020

Fun thread of the day. AG Keith Ellison Muslim Minnesota. Getting freaking destroyed. Language maybe colorful. But I am done being polite!
I don’t understand this poster - let’s assume Trump wins - why would we cause riots? And if he doesn’t win, we aren’t the party to riot. So do these antifa punks plan to riot regardless of who wins? These people are stupid.
