I’m in outskirts of Greenville, SC in a heavy R district. Over 250 people in line when my husband arrived one hour before polls opened at 7. I can’t get there until 4:30 and figure it will be long lines.

Maryland, mixed, HIGH turnout. Ten times more than I’ve ever seen here.

1. What State? New York - South Brooklyn

2. Is your precinct GOP, DEM, or Mixed. Somehow my district ended up with Democrat Max Rose in 2018, but it went solid Trump in 2016.

3. How does the turnout compare to past POTUS elections? Turnout was heavier than in 2016. I went at around 10:30am today and there was a short line of about 10 to 15 people waiting outside. A nice young man saw that I was walking with a cane and he let me go ahead of him.

I'm a little nervous about the outcome of this election. But I'm also hopeful. Four years ago the election happened on my birthday, and Trump's win was a lovely birthday gift. A Trump victory tonight will be an excellent early birthday gift, and that's what I'm praying for.

1. What State?
NW Arizona

2. Is your precinct GOP, DEM, or Mixed?
Pro-Trump. Trump/Pence lawn signs are not stolen.

3. How does the turnout compare to past POTUS elections?
Been voting here for 15 years - heaviest I’ve ever seen for such a small community (pop. 1,900+). That’s not saying much (10 people ahead of me, but usually we just walk in to a half-empty room). Desk clerks wore shields, most had no coverings. Woman at door said they had already exceeded the 2016 turnout count (9 am). Show Driver’s ID, use Q-tip to sign in electronically, paper ballot with fill-in-the-circle choices, simple ballot box (used to electronically count votes on the spot) - have confidence in system here though.

Southwest Florida. I voted late morning, shortly before lunchtime. It was just like previous elections: no line at all, more poll workers present than voters. I love my little low-population county, which went 63% for Trump 4 years ago and will likely do the same thing again this time around.

Rio Rancho, NM

At 7:00am there was a considerable line at Soul Rio Church. Not the biggest I’ve seen, but considerable.

Drove by at 9:00am and there were only two people outside the building in line. Drove to the next nearest polling place - The Italian American Club - and it was the same, two people lined up outside.

Taking into consideration that I cannot find a single Democrat that has not already voted early, it can be assumed that a high % of those voting are Republican. I drove through the parking lot at the IAC and did not see a single Biden or other Democrat candidate or cause bumper sticker. I did see two Trump stickers and several stickers from local evangelical churches and Catholic right to life stickers, not to mention a couple of NRA member decals. There were about 35 cars in the lot.

New Mexico may be in play.

Update from somewhere in central PA. Swung by my polling place again around 2pm; I voted earlier.
Still not a lot of people. Doesn’t matter though, there aren’t many folks here and 2 out of 3 are Trump voters. Every third person is a village idiot.

Here in Northern Virginia, in a very deep blue county, there are no lines at all. Usually the wait is 1/2 hour, more or less, but there is always a line out the door. Today, there is nothing. However, we had two weeks of early voting where the lines were 2 hours long. I think that siphoned away the usual Election Day crowd.

Poor choice of words, not try, but crawl over broken glass and do. We went later, stood in line, and voted.
